Not only was my salesman top notch, the whole dealership was outstanding!! We traveled about 80 miles the day before the Thanksgiving holiday and was caught in traffic causing our arrival to the dealer to b was outstanding!! This made no difference as we were not rushed in any manner. After speaking with Adam, our salesman, we knew on the test drive that we would be purchasing the vehicle that evening. He and the manager made us feel at home, detailed my vehicle, gased it up, and had us on our way back home. I HIGHLY recommend this dealership for anyone in the market for either a new or used vehicle. Just a complete smooth transaction from beginning to end More
Got to my 1 o’clock appt at 12:45. Told the gentleman I had to be on the road back no later than 2. He said no problem I’d be done no later than 2. Also requested—per the Outback 3.6 manual—synthetic o had to be on the road back no later than 2. He said no problem I’d be done no later than 2. Also requested—per the Outback 3.6 manual—synthetic oil. He said they always use conventional in Outbacks. I asked for Mobile One. He said they had Castrol. I agreed to the Castrol synthetic oil. At 2:35 my car was done. On the receipt it clearly says conventional oil. I explained to the young lady I specifically wanted synthetic. She said that the receipts always say bulk conventional, but she would check in the back to make sure I got the synthetic. Sure enough, she said the techs in the back said I got the synthetic. Sure. So not done in the promised time with the product I wanted per Subaru recommendation. More

Peacock Subaru GM - a disappointing experience Of note – this is the first online review I have ever felt compelled to complete. We went to Hardeeville Subaru Mar2019 with intentions to purchas Of note – this is the first online review I have ever felt compelled to complete. We went to Hardeeville Subaru Mar2019 with intentions to purchase a car and get the best price possible. Our sales agent John was very junior (had just been there a few weeks) but was kind and appeared genuine. He made every effort to navigate our questions and concerns. Unfortunately, our interaction with GM Ken Kirby was quite different. While initially very kind and welcoming, his demeanor quickly shifted when my husband made it clear that we were trying to negotiate a good deal on a Subaru Outback. We were met with a condescending tone and the statement “our customers don’t usually come here to price shop.” Mr. Kirby stated that the dealership will be fined $5k if they sell a car below invoice (the validity of which was subsequently debunked by other GMs with whom we later interacted). He then abruptly exited the conversation to welcome another customer. We went to Troncalli Subaru (in Cumming GA) that weekend and happily purchased a brand-spankin’ new 2019 Subaru Outback Limited for $5,500 off MSRP ($2500 below invoice). In fact, this discount (5K off a new limited) was a promotional offer that all other Subaru dealerships were offering/matching at the time, except for Hardeeville. I am sure that the Hardeeville dealership provides wonderful customer service after a car is purchased – this service might be reason enough for some individuals to purchase from this dealership. However, if you are looking to save some money – go elsewhere. Bottom line – Mr. Kirby could have undercut the Troncalli dealership by $500 and we still would have driven the 4.5 hours to take our business elsewhere. Perhaps Mr. Kirby mistook our clearly humble lifestyle (old Honda civic, torn jeans) for lack of means – regardless, we are now the happy owners of a beautiful Subaru Outback. FYI we love this car as it meets all our criteria for comfort, safety, and reliability. As a physician, I intend to post this experience on Physician Mom’s Group – a social media group comprised of 80,000 physician mothers, where Subaru’s are one of the most highly recommended car manufacturers for the aforementioned reasons. Saved my day First of all, we are visitors here from Nova Scotia , arriving on HH on Feb 1. On Sunday, Feb 3, most of the warning lights on the instrument panel of First of all, we are visitors here from Nova Scotia , arriving on HH on Feb 1. On Sunday, Feb 3, most of the warning lights on the instrument panel of my 2014 Forester lit up, followed by a flashing warning for AT temperature. Made it back from Bluffton to HH. Called Peacock first thing on Monday morning and talked with service advisor , Andrew. To my surprise, he said to bring it right in and they would run an analysis on it. ($115) Drove very carefully and made it there OK. Called me later that afternoon with good news and bad.. Good was they found the problem ( valve body pack in transmission) . Bad news was repair would cost around $2000. Said OK.. Must be done. Realize buying a high mileage (188,000 km ) vehicle can be a gamble. Got the car back on Tuesday. Works great do far. Work is guaranteed for a year, but probably void in Canada. Overall, I am extremely pleased with the service received, the way we were treated, an especially the promptness. At the Subaru dealer in Halifax, NS. it often takes a over a week for an appointment. They had me in and out in just over a day. Very professional. Thanks, Andrew. More

I was working with Ryan directly via text and phone since I'm not local and I was impressed with him timeliness, respect to my process and timeline and care towards the many questions I had regarding the Forester. I will recommend Ryan and Peacock to anyone else that is looking for a Subaru. The service is worth the drive. More
