Two years into my lease of an Outback, I was solicited to Trade Up. Then came the negotiations to which the sales rep was non responsive to calls and texts. I reached the general manager who was quick to re Trade Up. Then came the negotiations to which the sales rep was non responsive to calls and texts. I reached the general manager who was quick to respond but not effective in getting the sales rep to communicate with me. I had to visit the dealership in person, which I'd tried to avoid during Covid, to sit down and hammer out a deal. Ultimately, I got a deal to lease a new Outback, identical to the one I traded in, that I was very happy with, and I'm sure the dealership will profit well from. My overall rating was impacted by the communication issue, which could and should have been handled more professionally. Good communication, or lack there of, can have a huge impact on the purchasing experience. They failed here. More
