I recently needed to buy a new vehicle. Ben Thomas was informative, respectful, and helpful (even fun) in our search for a vehicle to replace my former car that had been totaled when a truck hit me at a stop signal. The accident left me wanting a car that rates highly for safety, as well as being dependable, comfortable, and not a fortune to operate. In spite of the limited cars immediately now available, he found a lovely blue Subaru Outback that seems a good fit. All new models were reserved and we needed a vehicle NOW, so we bought a clean 2020 with very low mileage. Our experience with the dealership is five stars because of Ben. I am very pleased with the vehicle overall, but have a couple of issues with it. The SUV shudders periodically when the car is idling more than a short while. The cause is the emissions saving device that was added to the line as one of Subaru's measures to help protect the environment. It can easily be turned off, if the driver so chooses. (I'll leave it on because helping the environment even in small ways is important.) The other issue has to do with my getting used to a less powerful engine than my previous car had. The Outback fits me well, handles well, and has myriad safety features. After months of therapy from the accident, this gives me great peace of mind. More
