AutoNation Subaru Hilton Head

I moved here from Maine where Patriot Subaru was excellent. I expected every Subaru dealership would be the same. Not even close. I was misinformed a few times during the sale and I was never offe excellent. I expected every Subaru dealership would be the same. Not even close. I was misinformed a few times during the sale and I was never offered the enhancements I was looking for service. I wanted and believed I received Subaru complete service coverage but I was sold a different deal where my oil changes are covered but nothing else. I am guessing the salesperson made more money on this outside of Subaru deal. When my lease is up I will be leaving Subaru and thanks to this dealership I will be much more aware of protecting my interests and not the salesperson. More

Overall my experience was a good one, however, the manager did not acknowledge me in any way despite the fact that I was in the showroom several times during the buying process. This dealership has problems. They quoted me a price for a 60K service that was 40% higher than the nearest competing Subaru dealer. Included in this quote were sparking plugs at $27 each and numerous untruths told by the "service advisor" which, disappointingly, was not my usual service advisor! I own three Subarus, adn this dealership lost all of my business when they tried to gouge me. Don't get ripped off! Get your Subaru serviced elsewhere! More

I am relocating to the Bluffton area in Autumn 2022 and I will certainly look forward to using this dealership as my primary dealer/servicing department on my 2018 Subaru Impreza. I am the original owner, the servicing department of the originating Subaru dealer has done all the maintenance. My hope is to keep this vehicle in the hands of Subaru maintenance only! Unable to fix AC temperature control. Have to return for a loner car in mid July. Do not know how to fix climate control. Staff has been trying without success.
