I had been looking on internet for sometime for a new car or one only a year old with low mileage. I have always been a Honda advocate but when I asw that the Elantra mmade 40mph on highway and 29mph in city I became quite interested. I also so the new design for 2011 and was very impressed. Compared to the 2010 and earlier models it is fresh. I started my search by going to Schaumburg Hyundai(Patricks). They had only two colors,white and black.Iwas not happy or impressed. And I only had a thirty time in which to purchase.This was due to my loaner and to receive license fee and taxes from my totaled car.After calling three to four other agencies with limited colors I called OHare Hyundai. I spoke with Mike Obal. Silver was one of the colors so,I drove 30 miles down to see him. I swa the Elantra and was taken. Mr. Obal took me on a test drive and explained the vehicle to me.He was wonderful.When we returned he explained everything I needed to know about the car.I pet up purchasing the car and he walked me through the entire process.Mind you I arrived there at 6:30pm.It was 9:30pm when I got into the car.Again Mike explained switches,knobs,etc...It was a great experience. I can only say he is an asset and detrmental to the company. More
I went into the Hyundai dealership to purchase a 2011 Sonata. Usually when buying a car I can't help but feel like I am being worked over the entire time...this dealership was very different. Of course they cam at me with a higher price at first but they came down to the price I needed them to without a hassle and I truly feel like I got a good deal. The salesman Mike Obal was very nice and was happy to allow me to test drive 3 vehicles before deciding which one I wanted. He also took the time to show me everything on the car and even stated that I could come back anytime if I had any questions. The finance guy Dan (unknown last name) was also very nice and helpful. I would recommend this dealership to all of my family friends. This was probably the most pleasant experience I have had purchasing a car. More

I returned to O'Hare Hyundai after buying my first car from them a couple years ago. I remembered the excellent customer service I experienced the first time, and I wanted to give them my business based from them a couple years ago. Darren and Dan were very nice, and worked with me despite the fact that I didn't have "perfect" credit. They listened to my concerns with the deal, and made sure I was getting what I asked for. My experience at O'Hare Hyundai was pleasant(both times), and I plan to return to them for my next car in the future. An "A+" experience! More

I came to the dealership wanting to trade in my older Hyundai for one equiped exactly the same. I made that clear to the salesman. I looked at a car that I was told was the same but nit the color that Hyundai for one equiped exactly the same. I made that clear to the salesman. I looked at a car that I was told was the same but nit the color that I wanted. Mike said lets make the deal with this car and we will get the color you want. Oneof the main things that I had on my old car that I wanted was ALL WHEEL DRIVE. Turns out that the one that I drove off the lot was front wheel drive only. My mistake for not reading the sticker and trusting that Mike was giving me what I asked for. I asked to see the sticker on the car that I made the deal for and was not allowed to makeing me thing that I got bait and switched. Like I said, My fault for not reading the paperwork. Quite possible a great deal for them for selling me a front wheel drive model for the price of an all wheel drive. Follow up. I responded to the dealers review response and here is what he had to say. It turns out there was an additional issue with this dealer in that they did not fully pay off my previous car loan. Sorry to bother you with my discontent Steve! Here is Steve's reply to my e-mail. Bob, I will have our finance director look into this and get back to you ASAP You have made your unhappiness known to the entire world by bashing us on line, and don’t need any further reminders of your discontent. We take pride in being an above average dealer, and I am truly sorry that you had a bad experience at O’Hare Hyundai. Nevertheless, we will find out about the $10.00 error, and get back to you in a timely manner. Although the process was a trite lengthy, I thoroughly enjoyed dealing with all of the staff at O'Hare Hyundi. Staff were professional, funny, and no strong arm tactics or head games. Mike was extremely patient with me, letting me drive many models, answering all of my questions, and showing me all the features on my new car - staying after the dealership was closed to do so. Mike called me the next day to see how me and my new car were getting along. Dan was very humorous, quick witted, and explained options and pricing in the best and easiest fashion. I was brought bottled water when I got thirsty and they even shared a pizza with me since I was there over dinner time. My husband bought a Santa Fe there 1.5 years ago and always raved about the dealership, and now I know why. I bought a brand spanking new 2011 Elantra which just came out days ago. What a beautiful ride, and I love the body design and roomy interior. I'd definitely buy another car here because I was treated respectfully and honestly. More

We received follow-up calls after the sale from both the sales manager (a recording), and the salesman asking if we were happy and everything was OK with the car. I'd have no problem recommending this dealership to friends or family. More
