I purchased my new Hyundai from AutoNation Hyundai O'Hare a few weeks ago. I couldn't be happier with the new vehicle, and I was very satisfied with most of my interactions with the dealership. After choosing a couple of vehicles to drive, I made my choice and we began negotiating. This is where we hit the one major roadblock in the process. The F&I manager I dealt with originally seemed intent on showing me who was "boss" rather than helping me get the facts I needed to proceed with the sale. I was on my way to walk out, but popped into the GM's office on my way out the door. Jim was interested enough to intervene and save the sale. Afterwards, and with a different F&I manager, things went very smoothly and I am very happy with the resultant sale. More

Immediately upon entering the dealership, Matt (the manager) warmly greeted us and introduced us to Juan. Working with Juan was an absolute pleasure. Juan explained all options available on the Tucson hybrid. We test drove it, reentered the dealership to discuss buying in when I noticed my wife eyeing different larger vehicle on the floor. I thought, there is no way I’m buying that gas guzzler and stated my opinion to both of them. My wife liked this Santa Fe because it was very roomy and would be nice when traveling with our grandkids. Juan informed us it is available in a hybrid. Well, a few minutes later we were test driving it. I called Juan late in the evening the next day to make an appointment. Upon arrival, Juan had the Calligraphy waiting for us. It’s in our driveway now. It was late in the evening, Juan and the financial team stayed beyond closing hours to help us drive our new car home. We offered to come back the next day because it was late but the whole team was very gracious, friendly and accommodating. Juan prepared the vehicle for us when we worked with the financial manager (he was wonderful also). I’ll mention there was a slight hitch hooking the vehicle up to Bluetooth. Juan and another salesman (don’t recall his name, but he attended Purdue University) both worked together and rectified the issue quickly and competently. Great teamwork.
