We have purchased new cars before and have never had so much paperwork involved. The staff worked hard to make the process as painless as possible; perhaps Autonation can make some changes to minimize the paperwork/signing, etc. More

Our issues with this d **STAY FAR, FAR, FAR AWAY.** Never in my life have I encountered such poor customer service or questionable business practices. Our issues with this dealership began in the fall, when my husband and I were looking to begin a new lease (or purchase) of a Hyundai, as my Sonata's lease was coming to an end. We visited the dealership 3+ times and test drove several vehicles and worked with four employees, two of which were managers. We were assured that our test drives and "willingness to stay in the Hyundai family, even if we didn't end up renewing a lease" would mean reimbursement of a $400 disposition fee, charged upon the end of a lease. After choosing the exact make and model that we wanted, we were interested in numbers regarding lease vs. purchase. Unfortunately, though, after countless phone calls, we received absolutely NO call backs, despite our best efforts. We ended up going to CarMax (and had an EXCELLENT experience, thank goodness) to purchase our next vehicle. The trouble REALLY started, though, upon turn-in. Because the dealership told us we needed to replace our tires, we did so and provided a receipt to the manager the day we turned in the vehicle. He assured us that we had no remaining dues to Hyundai and that we were free to go. Fast forward 6 weeks later, and I receive a collections call from Hyundai, asking for nearly $700-- a combination of the disposition fee (which I was told would be reimbursed by the dealership) and a fee for the new tires they "had to put on the vehicle." In a panic, I went to the dealership and spoke with Sean, the manager who took my receipt originally, and he assured me that he remembered me, that remembered taking my receipt, and that he had "never heard of" a disposition fee at the end of a lease. He assured me that he would make sure it was taken care of that day. I called him every few days for SIX WEEKS, only to be told each time that he would "call me tomorrow." After finally reaching out to the general manager, Dave, it was decided that the dealership had lost my receipt, but that I would be responsible for obtaining a new one and handling it with Hyundai. He also added that he could "not be responsible" for what his employees had promised, re: disposition fee. After expressing my extreme disappointment and urging him to do the right thing and help me resolve the situation, he still did not budge. Only after I stated that I'd be sharing my poor experience with family and friends did he beg me to not "stoop to slandering their good name" (he *clearly* does not have a law degree, given his understanding of the term) and promise that he'd try to make it right. 30+ days later, I finally heard from him, and he "can't do anything." Truly, I would save yourself a headache and go truly ANYWHERE but here. More
