I just called and spoke with Anthony. Anthony said the GM "just stepped out" and he placed my callback # on his desk. The GM's name wasn't given. I have spoken with the sales manager (Chris Osterholm) on both 05/29/2022 and 05/31/2022 in person - Chris said on 05/31 that the GM would offer nothing in regard to the situation. The GM would not speak to me himself. No one so far has offered up the GM's name and when I visited the dealership on 05/31 while it was indicated that he was physically there he would not assist Chris other than making Chris be his messenger and he remained in his office entire time. 06/02/2022 12:51 PM eastern

06/02/2022 5:06 pm eastern: called back and the GM was still not available. I was able to get his name this time - Allen (or Alan) Anderson. Completed a chat via the AN Hyundai website also just now and requested the GM to call me. Will update again tomorrow 06/03/2022.

It is obvious that the GM is not interested in "turning the experience around" and that this is just a canned Dealer Rater response. The GM will not speak to me in person or return my calls. He is not concerned with turning the experience around. I'm actually further annoyed with the canned Dealer Rater response hoping other consumers reading these reviews is fooled into thinking the dealer cares about the customer. This GM is obviously a snow flake who hides behind his office and thinks too highly of himself. I am not a snow flake and welcome the opportunity to discuss with the GM (if he chooses to bless me with a returned phone call) the blatant disregard for my family's safety in selling the vehicle with a known safety recall. I foolishly thought that by purchasing from a dealer I did not need to be too concerned with purchasing a safe vehicle without safety recalls. Autonation is not a dealer to be trusted in this regard. This dealer truly does not care if people die as long as they make a dollar.

This response is to Dealer Rater: This is to inform you that I have tried contacting the GM multiple times and he will not return my calls. Perhaps you have the power to persuade him to call me? Or I would be happy to go to the dealership at an arranged date/time if he would meet in person.

It is quite obvious at this point that Auto Nation doesn't care about turning the experience around and doesn't care about their customers in general. The GM does not have the courage to call me back, answer the phone when I call or meet with me face to face to discuss anything. To potential customers of Auto Nation: Do not be fooled into thinking that since they are a large dealer that they are honest, ethical and working in your best interest. Question anything and everything about your deal and do your own research - do not trust what Auto Nation tells you at face value. And if you encounter a safety issue with a vehicle their GM will hide in his office and will not even have the courage to speak with you on the phone or email you. The vehicle I purchased was a 2020 Ram 2500 with only 38k miles that I purchased for $58,000. This was not an inexpensive vehicle that you would expect issues with. The dealer sold this vehicle to me with an open safety recall (fuel pump that can/will fail with no notice causing an accident if it fails while in motion) and the fuel pump isn't available for potentially 6 months. So when I asked the sales manager Chris (who actually did have the courage to speak with me probably because his GM forced him to while he hid in his office) what I was supposed to do with an unsafe vehicle for several months he said "there are probably a lot of them driving just fine on the road right now and it would probably be ok". I asked him if Auto Nation was willing to accept the liability if my family was injured or died in an accident resulting from the fuel pump failure and he just had a blank look on his face at that point. Again, everyone out there be extremely cautious when buying a vehicle from Auto Nation.
