The staff was friendly in the service & parts departments but my appointment did not go well. When I booked installation for side boards on my SUV I was told it was a quick, straightforward job. After arriving on time, then waiting for 30 minutes, someone came out and told me it would take 3 hours and cost $615 for the installation. At first I thought that included the cost of the side boards themselves ($500) but no, it was just for the installation. That seemed way too much and I felt as though I was being taken advantage of. The resulting situation, I’m looking for a mechanic to do the install of these factory side boards I have already paid for. More
Thank you Autonation Hyundai for taking good care of my car and replacing the starter. But again, attention to detail is lacking. There was mechanics grease on my driver's door. Yuck! There are a lot of issues with the used Ford Transit. It looks like nobody did the inspection before they sold it to me. The Escape I purchased from AN Honda crapped out just at the year mark of having it. I went to AN Hyundai to look at a car I saw online. That car had key fob issues so I couldn't see it. Needing a car AS the year mark of having it. I went to AN Hyundai to look at a car I saw online. That car had key fob issues so I couldn't see it. Needing a car ASAP, I ended up with a car that was more than I planned on spending. Fast forward 2 weeks..there's already an issue with the car. Contacted the 2 people in sales I worked with. Was told to call service for an appt. They couldn't get me in for a week so now I'm frustrated. Sales couldn't help me..."nothing they could do". Went back and asked for the service manager. The Service manager was very nice and had my car looked at right away. Easy fix I'm told..can do it that day and it would be $500 and that was a discounted price. I decided to bring it home and take care of the situation because I didn't have that to spend. Car gets fixed..runs fine for a week. Fiance and his 17 yo daughter are headed north to bring her home from her summer visit. 3 hours into the ride the car bucks and there's a fireball as they're still in the car driving on the highway. Thankfully they both got out okay. The car...not so much. Mind you I haven't had the car a month yet. Haven't even gotten the tags. I have made my first payment. They sold me a car that could've killed them both. And I'm back to not having a car. Never again will I get a car from Auto Nation. 2 cars in 12 months...both ended up being crap. (My Rav 4 lasted me 20 years before I had to get rid of it. ) More
