Made a inquiry over the internet in regards to a Honda CR-V that caught my interest and was immediately contacted by Shaheen. We felt that he answered every question as honest as possible, and went out of his way to find out more than the Carfax offered. Really nice guy that we hope does well in his career. Anthony the finance manager was just a delight to work with. Again very transparent and approachable. He made sure that we got the best deal that we anticipated our credit and incomes would get us. He took the time to explain every little detail of our financing and made sure we were comfortable with anything we signed. He didn’t make us feel rushed or pressured. We wish him well on his climb up the finance ladder! I highly recommend working with Abdullah and Anthony when it’s time for your next car purchase! More
One of the worst experiences ever I purchased Honda Clarity PHEV from this dealership on Feb 1, 2019. Their staff told me several lies to sell unnecessary extended warranties, 4 in nu I purchased Honda Clarity PHEV from this dealership on Feb 1, 2019. Their staff told me several lies to sell unnecessary extended warranties, 4 in number, which I unfortunately believed and bought. Upon realizing the truth, I tried really hard to get the warranties cancelled and get my money back. Finally, I was successful in getting their representative's acknowledgement on the warranties cancellation form. Still the reimbursement was not forthcoming even after waiting for 90 days and several phone calls to their staff. Honda customer care came into the picture, on my request and worked with their staff for several weeks to get all of the extended warranties cancelled and 3 reimbursements issued. For the 4th and final reimbursement for $958 from Honda Care, their staff says they did not receive the check from Honda Care but Honda Care sent me a letter dated June 26, 2019, stating that the cancellation has been processed and the money will be sent to the dealer within 15 days. On the phone, Honda Care confirmed that the money should have been received by their dealership on July 1, 2019 itself, as they send it electronically. I made several phone calls, sent multiple emails, and spent a whole lot of time in the last 7+ months and I was tired of chasing this, so I finally sought an attorney's help. On his advise, I sent a demand letter warning them I shall go to the court if they do not send me the check. It's been 2 weeks already, but i did not receive the check and I have no option but to go to the court, spending more time, more efforts and more money. More
Ah, the car buying experience...not the most fun thing to do but we all go through it at times. I was looking to make a new or lightly used vehicle purchase before year end after putting many miles on my las do but we all go through it at times. I was looking to make a new or lightly used vehicle purchase before year end after putting many miles on my last 2 cars over the past 15 years. My priorities were reliability, fuel efficiency and driving experience. I've owned several Honda and Acura manual transmission cars over the years but was willing to consider a few other brands this go around if I learned of a good option. I did thorough research over the past 6 months and test drove a dozen or so cars to make sure it's what I wanted before dropping all that coin. In the end I decided sticking with Honda was the way to go. You, my fellow reviewers, led me to Autonation Fremont as one of several dealers I visited. Coincidentally, the location is close to my job which made things way more convenient. You also led me to Anthony Morales and I was not disappointed! His co worker Shaheen was my sales agent through it all and also very satisfied to deal with him (more on that later). So I've done my homework on what I think I'm looking for and what price I want to pay. I visited mid week afternoon and that was a good time to go so they had more time and it was less stress for me. Upon arrival I asked for Anthony based on his multiple good reviews. Although he was helping another customer, he warmly greeted me and asked if it would be ok if he put me in the good hands of another sales agent named Shaheen who sits next to him. At first I was a bit disappointed, but Anthony has such a genuine friendly look on his face and once I met Shaheen I felt very at ease. Thanks to both of you gentlemen! I had previously test driven a civic hb sport at another dealer as well as a few gen 9 2015 civic si stick shift cars. I was curious about the gen 10 civic si coupe since for the 2019 model Honda worked out a few dash control gripes I had read about (Climate and audio controls). Shaheen showed me a 2019 si coupe and we went for a drive. The car has much better handling than the gen 9 and although no more vtec, the 1.5 turbo has ample pep backed by the most glorious feeling 6 speed shifter built today. A very fun car to drive! So let's cut to the chase. From start to finish over a 2 week period Shaheen was friendly, polite, helpful, EXTREMELY responsive via text (thanks for that) and stayed even tempered and approachable with no pushiness at all. I so much appreciate that! Same goes for Anthony - he let Shaheen do his thing but on my second visit Anthony checked in to make sure I was being taken care of as well as after we closed the finance paperwork on the car Anthony again checked in to make sure I was satisfied. Man I love follow through. These 2 have it in spades. Sometimes rare to find these days. Super friendly yet professional. I've been told I am a pretty friendly guy, but I am also not an easy customer sometimes and not only do I ask a lot of questions, sometimes I get ahead of myself in a conversation and miscommunication may occur. The only issue I had at all was when discussing the financing. I thought it was the dealers fault but it was all just us using different terms. I was pre approved by my credit union for financing. Make sure when discussing financing and the dealer rep mentions "the office" that you are clear if they are talking about the Honda dealer finance rep office or if they mean the lender office (my credit union). This caused a little confusion for me at first but through it all, Shaheen remained completely calm and level headed and we were able to get on the same page. I learned something from him that day and I TRULY appreciate and respect your calm demeanor. Test drive was fun and laid back. It was like I was spending time with a friend. When it came down to business, Shaheen told me I'm not like other customers being so prepared and he guessed correctly that I did not care for any add ons as part of the sale. When I met with the finance guy George, although he asked me once just to make sure, after that he didn't pressure me about it any further. This is HUGE for me. Overall, not a completely problem free experience, but about as little stress as possible given buying a new car and I wouldn't hesitate to refer my friends to Shaheen or Anthony. Keep up the good work guys and thanks again! More
