Communication with the dealer was not the best however I did get emails back within half hour or less and he did call to let me know that he was the only one there at the time trying to answer everyone. I bought a 2008 Silverado 1500 and it's an absolute beast. They were very clear on showing me what has been done as far as repairs or maintenance and the test drive area was perfect to test all areas of the truck (acceleration, braking, ride comfort, etc) I would recommend this dealer to anyone looking for a car or truck, because this dealer has nothing to hide. Thank you Barry, Robert, Josh, and John for making this possible! More
Terrible Car Buying Experience We purchased a 2001 Toyota Prius from AutoNation Ford Saint Petersburg on 2/19. I saw the car through the National Educators Association Auto Buying s We purchased a 2001 Toyota Prius from AutoNation Ford Saint Petersburg on 2/19. I saw the car through the National Educators Association Auto Buying site. We came in on 2/18 to test drive. When we said we wanted to check a few other places, we were reminded over and over about the 125-point inspection and given horror stories of "buy here, pay here" lots. We came back later that evening to fill out the paperwork, and we came back for the final purchase the next day when a decent financing offer came through. We were told by the sales team the car was as-is but the financing officer would go over purchasing a warranty (he did not). The salesman Bobby gave us his card and told us to let him know if we needed anything. Initially, we were very happy. However, the car first started to act a little off on four days later (within their 5-day return window). We called Bob and left a voicemail but got no response. We filled the tank, drove home, and it seemed to be fine. We didn't stress that no one called us back, only a little annoyed that I kept my 5 year old up past his bedtime. Five days later, the car died as my boyfriend was driving home on the highway. He started it enough to drive off the highway to a side street. Once again, I took my son in his pajamas to check out the car. We scheduled a tow, but again the car started working after a couple hours and made its way home. My boyfriend brought the car in to AutoNation Ford Saint Petersburg the next day. (This means I was late to work myself because I had to take my son to school). Initially he was told there was nothing they could do. Then, after spending the entire afternoon there, a certified tech performed a diagnostic and thought he might have an idea of the problem. Unfortunately, the Service Department was now closing, and he had to drive the car back across the Bay. He returned the next day and after more waiting, was given a diagnosis and a repair cost over $800. After some discussion, the team settled on $300. Over the six or seven hours he was there, only two people checked in on him the entire time. Once again, the service department was closing, and they needed a part. He was not offered a loaner car. Instead, he was driven to Clearwater Airport where HE had to pay for a rental HIMSELF. He finally made it home around 8:00 PM for the second day in a row. Despite our attempts to reach someone, nobody returned any calls on Friday. On Saturday, after WE called multiple times we finally got the car back. When looking at the records, it says they recommended an air filter and something with a belt but we declined it. In fact, those issues were never brought to us, but it seems strange a vehicle we bought less than two weeks prior would need filters and belts. I understand the car was sold as-is, but we purchased from AutoNation because we thought it was a reputable dealership. I purchased my own car from AutoNation Honda in Clearwater in 2010 and have only positive things to say about my service there. This ultimately cost us $300 plus $250 in lost wages and a $90 rental. Do not buy from this dealer! More

Worst service advisors I've ever dealt with,EVER! There is one advisor that has a clue, unfortunately for me she was on medical leave. Took my 2015 F250 Diesel in for standard 5000 mile oil change. M There is one advisor that has a clue, unfortunately for me she was on medical leave. Took my 2015 F250 Diesel in for standard 5000 mile oil change. Mentioned "again" when first got out of truck ,that passenger side ground cable keeps corroding. Advisor tried to tell me it's the two odd metals. Hmmm why doesn't other side do it. Her answer, well they must have used a different metal. Oil gets changed and tells me you need a fluids changed. Power steering, brake, coolant and fuel filter. Hmmmm I just changed fuel filter last time I was here when the other gentleman told me it needed changing at $177.00. Hmmm , I'm my opinion they do nothing but try and up sell you. More
AVOID RYAN LOWE FROM SERVICE DEPT AT ALL COST I'm giving a 2 star review only because of Brittany Peterson, one of the new staff they have. Otherwise, it would have been a whopping 1 at the most. I'm giving a 2 star review only because of Brittany Peterson, one of the new staff they have. Otherwise, it would have been a whopping 1 at the most. I got there early for a 7am oil change appointment, I was the first customer there, not a single one approached me. I walked up to one of them to ask if I can sit in one of the chairs by the door while waiting, all he said was "that's fine", too busy walking while texting did not even make eye contact or offer assistance. Found out later he was my Advisor RYAN LOWE. Finally, I got some assistance thanks to the gentleman who checked me in, unfortunately I didn't get his name, and Brittany. They were very helpful. However, one of the techs don't even know how to open the hood of my '16 F150. Such a shame. So I waited in the lounge and was advised by Brittany that Ryan will be with me shortly to complete the paperwork. About an hour passed and finally the gentleman that checked me in came in looking for me wondering why I still haven't checked out. Nobody told me my truck had been done and waiting outside. That stupid incompetent loser RYAN LOWE disappeared. At this point. I just assumed he went to the bathroom and somebody must've flushed him down the toilet because he is the biggest piece of xxxx in that dealership. Thank goodness Brittany stepped up one last time to assist me so I could finally leave that place. Too bad she's stuck working there, with turds like ryan. More
