We purchased a vehicle from AutoNation Ford St Petersburg on a Wednesday evening. We returned Friday before noon to discuss a broken component and was told to take it to any AutoNation location for a warran on a Wednesday evening. We returned Friday before noon to discuss a broken component and was told to take it to any AutoNation location for a warranty repair. This was not the case so we returned Monday to get it he issue resolved. Just to ensure we could be seen by service, an appointment was made for 11am. The vehicle was checked in and I was notified that we simply needed sales approval to complete the repair. Five hours later we were informed that the repairs would not be authorized because there wasn’t enough profit in the sale on a CPO pre-owned vehicle. The reasoning for declining customer service was further explained that the tech who inspected the used vehicle noted the broken component but it was decided not to repair prior to putting the vehicle on the lot. If you have to shop at AutoNation Ford, please be warned that customer service and putting out high quality vehicles takes a backseat to the dealership profit margin! More

Tom, our salesman, was AMAZING! ! He was the reason I was willing to go back to Autonation Ford to get the car that I had driven and liked. I would not buy from any of the other sale !
