Not about extended warranties or sales documents, He will hand you the iPad and let you read through them on your own. He might pout some but it sure speeds up the final process of buying a car. More
I was on-time for my appointment, and was promptly greeted by my rep. He said it would take 2-3 hours for my oil change, so I settled in the waiting room with my computer, so I could get some business greeted by my rep. Other than the contact from Jess my salesman. I never heard or received a word from the manager or service manager. Bought a New Raptor 2 months ago and the sales experience was great. Jess, Cris and Jose are amazing to deal with. The huge problem here is the service drive. When the dealership received the truck from Ford they let me know up front about one of the sensors but said no big deal. It can still be driven and they could have everything repaired inside of a week or so. The issues noted before I took possession are a bad sensor that will not allow the truck to switch between modes, the hood does not align with the body and the truck shake's really hard sometimes when remote started. Since then the drivers seat cover/cushion has come loose and the clips on the bottom appear to be broken. I was promised by sales this is no big deal and and it will be taken care of. I was also promised priority when I dropped it off to be fixed as part of the agreement to buy the truck before it was repaired. Now the service department is telling me a different story and has stated that sales makes promises all the time that they can't keep. This is my second Raptor. My first one was amazing and the service was always on point. The new one has potential but is hard to appreciate given the circumstances. To top off everything I was told by the service department that- 1- they can't promise any results for my appointment tomorrow -2-Sales promise the misaligned hood would be adjusted or replaced as it came from the factory that way so no worries. Now the service department is talking about taking it to the body shop!....For an adjustment that's fine, but I will absolutely not have a brand new truck with bodywork done on it. -3-Sales makes promises they can't keep all the time. And after that he asked me for a 5 star review.... We'll see how tomorrow goes. A five star is not out of the question but it's not looking good. I recently purchased the 2023 Ford Escape Titanium PHEV, and overall, I'm impressed with the smooth ride and the car's stunning appearance. However, there have been some frustrating issues with the heads-up display (HUD). Despite the car being equipped with this feature, I've been unable to get the selected content to display properly. I reached out to both Ford and the dealer for assistance, only to be told that they weren't familiar with how the HUD works. As a loyal Ford customer, I'm disappointed by the lack of vehicle orientation provided at the time of purchase. It's frustrating that finding someone knowledgeable about using the various options on the vehicle seems to be an impossible task. I hope that Ford can improve the customer experience by offering better support for understanding and utilizing the features they provide in their vehicles. More
