AUTONATION FORD SCOTTSDALE TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE First of all, I have never once before in my life taken the time to write a review online or to this extent. That will say something regarding my feelings towards this dealership. My wife and I were in the market for a newer used car. Being a mechanic myself and having much to do with the car industry, we knew what we were looking for and what we wanted to pay. We came across a car that was taken on trade-in at the dealership. We liked the car and the previous owner had done a good job at maintaining the car. We worked with Steve Kohl as our salesman who did his best and we don't have any complaints for Steve. When it came time to sign the papers we met with Bastan Falsafi. It started as a pleasant conversation and him telling us about himself as a loving father, his kids, and his BMW. Then he started to get aggressive as he was telling us how it was such a bad idea we were putting such a high dollar amount for a down payment and he could not believe why we would do such a thing and thats when the harassing began. What needed to be a simple process of signing legal papers, Bastan harassed time after time in effort for us to purchase his countless insurances and warranties. As a younger married couple, he completely downgraded us on the fact of how we "were young" and that "as a father and friend" he would "take care of us", when his only effort was to sale his extended warranty. Then when we would politely decline countless times to his offer, he responded in a disrespectful and immature defense. THIS DID NOT HAPPEN JUST ONCE. We sat in his office for close to 2 hours listening to him argue and belittle us the entire time. Now, I work in sales and I understand the need to provide for a family, but the harassment left my wife in tears and feeling terrible regarding the transaction afterwords. THIS WAS NOT A TYPICAL SALES EFFORT. Very disappointed. Now, after countless reassurances that "Our loan was approved and all was official", we drove the car home and were so happy to be done with that "sweat box". Weeks pass by and we receive a voicemail from Geoff Lewelling, stating that our loan has not been approved and we will need to bring the car back. My poor wife needing the car for work and school begins to panic as we talk it over. We call back Geoff and he tells us that we needed to fax him in another drivers license copy because the person at the dealership only copied half of the license, and that my bank statement wasn't enough and I needed to send a 3rd pay stub! So as Mr. Lewelling requested, we sent back documents that the dealership should have confirmed weeks before in correspondence with the threat to take away the car. A week passes by, and we hear no word from Geoff or Autonation. Day after day we send calls, texts, emails to Geoff and the main front desk. (which by the way you will never be able to speak with an operator, nobody answers the phone unless you ask to speak to a salesman about buying a car $$$$). No response. Another week later, Geoff finally answers his phone and gives no respect or response to the fact we had left multiple calls, voicemails, emails, and texts and states that he will need "Another bank statement". Unreal. After calling credit unions we assumed autonation was working with, we found our loan and completed the process by ourselves. We will NEVER return to this dealership, and we will tell everyone we can to stay away and rethink this process with THIS dealership. Max and Hailey Hann More

AutoNation Ford Scottsdale Worst Dealership in America FICO score 820 perfect credit approved by Ford Motor Credit Lease.... Stay Far Away from this Dealership...I never write reviews but I had to make FICO score 820 perfect credit approved by Ford Motor Credit Lease.... Stay Far Away from this Dealership...I never write reviews but I had to make an exception in this case! Leased a 2017 Explorer 12/15/2016 was contacted 12/30 and asked to read vin# off of the vehicle that they may have made an error on the lease agreement/paperwork. Was contacted 1/15/2017 and told I must come in and re-sign lease paper work. 1/22/2017 re-signed documentation. 2/18/2017 was told I must return the vehicle and they would return my $1,000 down payment and the 2 lease payments ($909) that I had made since delivery. In the mean time, I had made several calls to the General Manager and Director of Finance...no returned calls. Even the title clerk personally handed the GM my request to return a call. Returned my vehicle 2/23/2017 signed lease agreement rescission paperwork and they returned $1,909...drove the car for over two months and had 4,000 miles on the vehicle??? Finance Director said they did not get new doc's to Ford Credit in time and the residual and Ford Incentives had changed. Been calling Ford Motor Credit for over 3 weeks now because AutoNation Ford has not paid off my lease agreement....which has a vin# that is incorrect and for a vehicle that was returned 6 weeks ago! Ford keeps telling to speak to AutoNation Ford and they will not return my calls. Geoff Lewelling the Finance Director has told Ford Credit on 3 occasions that the check was sent and must have been lost....will cancel the check and re-send...yep the check is in the mail and my account is now showing 2 payments in arrears! My calls to the dealership are still going being ignored. Really wish I had seen the Dealer Rating score for this store before I subjected myself to this brain damage. . More

Their managers know nothing and listen to reply instead of listening to understand. My sales man Charles did not know anything and worst of all never reached out. His managers, John and Chris, are not knowledgeable either. It's gotten so bad that I did the deal on thanksgiving and it's still not final. The finance manager Bastan is not helpful and will want to sell you an overpriced warranty. Please do not buy anything from them. MISLEADING....LIARS.....SCAM ARTIST ... we recently purchased an f150 from autonation ford.... we were very happy with the truck. The finance manager Bastion (crook) told us he would knock the interest rate down and add features to protect the truck. He swindled his way through the system acting like he was helping us. We told him we had a budget and to stick to it. He said you are approved, you can send in your plate as we are issuing new plates. after 22 days we never heard from our supposed loan company. after I had to contact Autonation of Scottsdale, they told us the loan hasn't gone through yet and will call me back... Gabe (another crook and a coward) called me with a friend in the vehicle and told me "everything is approved and good to go and your payment will stay the same." I told him to remove all the extras Bastion put on there to help lower the payment." he said he would and see us there that afternoon to get it all finalizes since it was end of month and that nothing would change. He also left a voice mail to my wife stating the same comments, we were approved by ford credit and nothing was going to change. we arrived at autonation ford, magically gabe was no where to be found , so we had to deal with another xxx by the name of Christos Agnos. He told us they wanted 11k in cash to keep the truck or they would take it and give us our trade in back... that they could not help us and that after confronting him about their tactics to screw people, he "said they are standard practice in Arizona" he was disrespectful, rude and a complete jerk to people who were willing to pay 60k for a truck. I have a recording, a witness and documentation and photos of their mal-practices and will seek a lawyer. they do not treat and swindle people like this. we have been going to autonation, lou grubb, for 20 years, buying trucks and cars ... they have lost a customer and will lose a community of sales , buy hiring shady finance managers. DO NOT BUY HERE... More
