I’ve bought many vehicles at this dealership over the past 25 years when it was Lou Grubb Ford. Always had a great and satisfying experience with sales and service. I’m not sure what has happened ove past 25 years when it was Lou Grubb Ford. Always had a great and satisfying experience with sales and service. I’m not sure what has happened over time, but the focus on customer service is nonexistent. They don’t care about anything you say… communication between departments is poor at best. I scheduled an appointment for a half day recall on my car and I got there and the service manager was abrupt and said he needed the car at least 4-7 days. He didn’t care and I complained in a respectful way and he said if I have a complaint then I should go in the building and voice my complaint. I ended up driving all the way to Frits Ford in riverside, California where my sister and her husband go. They were so nice to me! The employees are happy. They’re communicating with me and explaining things so well to me. I’ll never go to Autonation Scottsdale Ford again. They need an overhaul in remembering that a happy customer will return over and over through the years. Teresa Jones at Frits Ford is amazing. She took time with me. She cared. She made me feel valued. More
Been a loyal customer of Auto Nation Scottsdale now for over 3 years with mediocre service results. My recent visit was so frustrating and unprofessional I feel like I need to speak out. I dropped off my over 3 years with mediocre service results. My recent visit was so frustrating and unprofessional I feel like I need to speak out. I dropped off my truck on June 3rd for a tire rotation, alignment and a warranty recall. I had some front tire wear I was concerned about, so I ordered a 4 wheel alignment and all 4 tires rotated. When I returned to pick up the truck I noticed the front tires were not rotated. I mentioned it to my service advisor Jake & he assured me it had been done by his lead guy. I didn't have time to argue, so I drove off and noticed the truck still pulled right - it was obvious the alignment hadn't been done either. I reached out to the service manager (Mark) to see if he could provide me with the alignment printout to show me the results, he emailed me a few times, but couldn't provide alignment results or proof it was done. I emailed him again trying to get a refund for the fee I paid for the alignment & tire rotation, but was never contacted back. I blew an entire day off getting my tires rotated at discount tire & alignment at Just Brakes having paid a second time for a job that wasn't done by Auto National Scottsdale. So frustrating & unprofessional. More
My first experience with Autonation Ford (Scottsdale) Brought my truck in for the 10K service (oil and tire rotation) . I noticed immediately they didn't rotate the tires because I could still see brake Brought my truck in for the 10K service (oil and tire rotation) . I noticed immediately they didn't rotate the tires because I could still see brake dust on the front wheels. The insisted they completed the work until I took them out to look at the truck. They went back and talked to the tech who said 'the tires where within range so I did rotate them". It was on the invoice as completed. They took the truck back and completed the work (as I had to wait another hour). There was also a recall on the windshield and they told me it was a 2 hour job only to find out it was 2-3 days because they had to take it to a body shop. Two weeks later I had a powertrain malfunction warning with a symptom being a very rough rev to drive tranny engagement. I went back to Autonation (reluctantly) because I was worried I would cause damage if I drove further to my preferred dealer. I was relieved to learn there was a service bulletin calling for a SW update. They called and told me it was fixed (including the rough engagement). I hopped in the truck and tested the shifting and it was worse then when I dropped it off.... even the service advisor said " thats really bad". he goes back to get the tech who had left for the day. I asked for someone else to take a look and they said "we want the same tech to look at it so you will have to leave it". I was so frustrated that I called Ford roadside assistance who had my truck towed to another dealer. 4 hours later I get a call from Autonation and the tell me "the truck has adaptive learning - just drive it around and it will fixed itself". wow. The second dealer discovered immediately that when Autonation updated the software they failed to reset the adaptive leaning module and clear the tables. Once that was done the truck was back to normal. I even called to speak with a service manager (Mark) at Autonation and he wasnt even professional enough to call me back. Dont waste your time with this dealer More
We own a fleet of vehicles and our 2019 Ford Transit Van with 50,900 developed a transmission issue. We took it to the closest repair shop which was Aamco to have them look at it. Aamco did their due dill with 50,900 developed a transmission issue. We took it to the closest repair shop which was Aamco to have them look at it. Aamco did their due dillegence and called AutoNation Ford to check and see if it was covered under the factory warranty which was 60,000 miles. AutoNation Ford said it was NOT COVERED and as a result we had Aamco start repairs on it. 1 day later we found out that this WAS COVERED under warranty and had Aamco immediately stop repairs. We paid Aamco $1200 to put the transmission back together and had the truck towed to AutoNation Ford to get the warranty work done. After we towed it to AutoNation Ford they diagnosed the transmission and said that they WILL NOT HONOR the warranty because the transmission had been opened up by another repair shop! The only reason we gave Aamco the approval to start repairs was because we were advised by the staff at AutoNation Ford that it was not a covered warranty issue. Now AutoNation Ford is wanting over $6,200 to repair the transmission that should have been covered under warranty in the first place had they advised us properly! When we spoke to the Service Manager at Auto Nation Ford "Mark" of the situation he refused to honor the warranty even though it was his staff that gave us the inaccurate information in the first place! Bad business practices. They could have made this right but they chose not to. More

Start to finish; kind courteous professional people. James (Jess), Jodi, John, Adel, everyone was very pleasant to work with. I came in to test drive and drove out an owner. Great job team! This is the 2nd time an oil change has taken almost 2 hours. Ridiculous. My service helper (Paul - decent man) told me he went in and yelled about getting it done at an hour and a half in. Maybe it is hours. Ridiculous. My service helper (Paul - decent man) told me he went in and yelled about getting it done at an hour and a half in. Maybe it is because we have a service agreement and we are treated like bottom feeders. But, if they want to keep customers, if they wanted to keep me as a customer, wouldn't you think they'd want to impress when you got me. I certainly do not recommend service of any kind at this location. When warranty work is done I am gone. Two hours for an oil change, I could do it faster myself and that includes going to the store to pick up oil and a filter. Do not go here for service. More

We bought our Escape from this dealer. I have taken it in for warranty service twice. The first time they had it for 2 weeks. This time they have had my car for a week with nothing started. They also ha in for warranty service twice. The first time they had it for 2 weeks. This time they have had my car for a week with nothing started. They also have had the part for over a month. I am so dissatisfied with their service department. I have never encountered a more incompetent department in all the years I have taken cars in for service. There is no way I will return for any type of service after this. More
I bought a new Ford Explorer with Peace Kandil. He was knowledgeable, helpful, and patient. I visited the dealership several times trying to make select the right car in my price range.
