Unfortunately I am not able to provide a negative star, but after my experience with their service department, I would certainly like to. In short, they picked up my truck which was great, said it would be a couple days for diagnostics, also great. But then identified the issue is water got into the junction box near battery and caused issues. Water got in because the cover was missing. This dealership is the only one who has worked on the truck. last year they tore the truck apart chasing down a water leak causing a mold smell in truck and likely didn't put the cover back on, or didn't secure it correctly. Nobody else would have touched it. But, they say it's not under warranty because water got in (Ford customer service says it would be covered - gave her case number and she can't find it)... but say I would need evidence they didn't put the cover back in properly if it was their liability. Worst part is when you review Ford site, it recommends contacting the dealer principal. Ashlee the service manager says "she has been in the car business for 10 years and has never heard the term dealer principal". She is condescending and rude. I explained the dealer principal is typically the owner, or the person running the dealership when it's corporate owned. She identified that would be Randy Jacobs, but said he doesn't have a phone number, isn't there and can't transfer me to a voicemail. She will give him my number and he will call me. Bottom line, don't trust the service department at this store. Plenty of better dealers in town. The best part.. as soon as I said I would speak with an attorney "we can't work on your car if you are going to have an attorney"... Umm, you have attorneys, why shouldn't I? More
AutoNation Ford Management Team, I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the service I received at your dealership, specifically regarding my recent appointment cancellation and the handling of my p my dissatisfaction with the service I received at your dealership, specifically regarding my recent appointment cancellation and the handling of my previous concerns. I have purchased two different trucks from AutoNation Ford. During a service visit in August 2024, I had an unpleasant experience with service manager Ashley Stanley, who was rude and unhelpful. After being prompted to leave a review, I was contacted by manager Michael, who was professional and resolved the issue, leading me to return and purchase another truck. However, two days ago, I was contacted about a recall and scheduled an appointment for today, 2/28. To my surprise, I received an email stating my appointment was canceled. When I called to inquire I was transferred to Ashley Stanley, where she explained that she canceled the appointment due to the review I left Last year on her poor performance. She was rude and unprofessional during our conversation, and there was no prior notice of the cancellation nor a phone call. This situation is deeply concerning and disappointing, particularly considering the amount I’ve spent at your dealership. I request a prompt resolution to address the recall and previous mechanical concerns that were not fully repaired, a review of Ashley’s behavior for future customer service training and accountability. Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to your response. More
After calling to schedule service, I was given an appointment a week out, which I accepted to minimize my time without a car since they do not provide loaners. My concerns included a radio recall, an appointment a week out, which I accepted to minimize my time without a car since they do not provide loaners. My concerns included a radio recall, another recall, and a persistent rattle in the door panel. I assumed I would be without my vehicle for a day or two at most. However, upon dropping off my car, Cole informed me it would take **a whole week**. I was taken aback. A week for radio programming? When I expressed my surprise, Cole responded with a condescending attitude, stating, “I’m not his only customer.” Cole then claimed he needed time to diagnose the issues. Yet, my car sat for 6 days untouched. I am sure technician's punch times confirm this lack of urgency. On the sixth day, I was finally told a speaker would be ordered for the rattle—I told Cole at drop off I did not think it was the speaker. Had my vehicle been properly inspected when I arrived for an appointment this unnecessary delay could have been avoided. Three days later, I was informed my car was ready for pickup. When I arrived, my keys were handed to me along with a question about not purchasing a tire. I would have approved additional work, but Cole’s dismissive attitude made me feel more like an inconvenience than a valued customer. To top it off, I was left to hunt for my vehicle in the lot—it felt like a scavenger hunt rather than a service experience. And let’s not forget, the door rattle is still present, proving that my concerns were not adequately addressed. **It’s clear that I was nothing more than a hassle to Cole and the dealership.** I’m incredibly disappointed. My truck was at the dealer for 8 days to complete maybe 3 hours of warranty work. Zero consideration was given I was without a vehicle. Go to Chapman Ford in Scottsdale! More
Courteous, professional people. I would definitely buy another vehicle from them. Wade Given went above and beyond to help me. I am most appreciative of how he treated me. Never been treated so rude by a service manager. Didn’t like me questioning the service writer to discuss my vehicle. Never go back. Stay away Didn’t like me questioning the service writer to discuss my vehicle. Never go back. Stay away More
The best words to describe my vehicle purchasing experience would be professional, smooth, and surprisingly enjoyable. I say ‘surprisingly’ because most people have either heard or personally experi experience would be professional, smooth, and surprisingly enjoyable. I say ‘surprisingly’ because most people have either heard or personally experienced a vehicle buying process that turned into a very unpleasant ordeal; filled with aggressive, too-forward salesmen that will try to upsell you on everything they can. Not true at AutoNation dealerships. I’ve purchased 2 vehicles from them in the past couple months. One from AutoNation Audi Arrowhead, and one from AutoNation Ford Scottsdale. Truly a pleasure doing business at both locations. Thank you very much AutoNation, and keep doing exactly what you’re doing!! More
Cost of service is ridiculous. I was charged $160.28 for an oil change and tire rotation on my truck. Just the cost of the oil was $19.85 a quart!!! Synthetic 0/20.
