This dealership is definitely top notch! My husband and I went in looking to purchase a new F-150. Gabriel was VERY helpful and nice throughout our whole experience. 12/23 - I went to Mike Shad Ford at 8:30pm (They close at 9:00) I went to the used car lot to look at full size SUV/Trucks. That night driving home my truck I used to have quit on me. Brad Swain walked out to the used car lot and introduced himself to me and asked if he could help. I told Brad that I was just looking and that they where about to close and did not want to bother them. Brad said that they would stay here as long as you want us too. I asked Brad if I could return in the a.m. to look at a couple of vehicles, he made a 9:00a.m appointment for me to look at acouple of trucks (I did mention that I liked the Expedition we where standing by talking). The nest day 9:00a.m I showed up with my family and Brad was right there to greet us (we where treated like VIP's) and he had the Expedition right there to test drive. (wow - I been to places where the salesmen could not remember what vehicle you looked at 5 minutes ago). We looked at a couple other vehicles, but we went back to the first one. We (wife and I) talked with Ike (he did the finaces) Brad Burnett was the sales manager I spoke to that day he was busy but he spoke to each and every person in the show room and Mike Heslink he happen to walk by my family and I a couple of times, he spoke to use even though he was not involved in our purchase of this vehicle. My family and I where treated like VIP's the whole time there. I have gone back for an oil change since (have put on some miles) I set up and appointment for oil change. I show for the oil change Paul Kratz met me told my truck back had the oil change done he also went over the basics. After he was done he came and got went over the vehicle maintance with me and when I should bring it in next. The service at Mike Shad is out of this world (it is nice to be treat like a person). Thanks Mike Shad I will be doing more business with you. And I have already recommended people to shop at Mike Shad More
This was my first visit to Mike Shad Ford. It was an awesome experience! I am a female that looks very young- and am generally treated that way. I came to the dealership to have my nearly new Ford Fusion, which I just purchase not even 9 months ago, but due to a change in my life style the Ford Fusion was not the car for me. Because I thought I Fusion, which I just purchase not even 9 months ago, but due to a change in my life style the Ford Fusion was not the car for me. Because I thought I needed more room, I had traded it my Ford Mustang which I had also purchase at this dealership just a few years before. While waiting for my Fusion to be services, I ran into Stave the sale person who had sold me the Fusion, during our conversation I mettioned how much I missed my Ford at which time we stated talking about what they had available in the lot. Once again Stave has gone out over and beyond to help me find just the right car for me. Overall I can't say enough good things about this dealership, from the service the department to the salesroom floor including the financing department everyone has always treated me not like a customer, but like family. I am extremely happy to continue doing busines here and hope that ina few years time or less when I start thinking about purchasing another car that Steve is once again my saleperson and if not than I will be more than happy to deal with any saleman in thsi dealership, because once again everyone its obsolutley great. My wife had a horrible encounter with another car dealership in Jacksonville Florida while I was dpeloyed to Afghanistan. The salesrep Steve Estes, both finance managers Mr. Ettiger and Justin of Mike Shad For Orange Park were a dream team to work with. They were knowledgeable, forthright, HONEST, accomodating and most of all they had OUR best intrest in mind. I am on the road alot serving my country I NEED folks like the aforementioned to protect my interest and my family while I protect thiers. That is what AMERICANS do so in closing I see them as ALL AMERICAN! More
I had been searching for a new car for almost a year. Really didn't want to do business with the "SHAD"! Rumors and a in person past experience. They should call him "honest Abe", didn't try tricks or gimmicks just good old fashioned salesmanship. I've been in sales for near 40 years; had a good idea where this young man is going. If your looking for a car want trust and the best there is swainb@autonation.com is where to go. I got a fair deal on a 2011 Mercury Mariner; should have got a little better but that's my fault.No computer go in and ask for Mr.Swain. you'll be glad you did. More
