I was referred to Mike Shad by a friend that directed me I was referred to Mike Shad by a friend that directed me to speak with the General Manager, Jim Lampke. After introductions Jim introduced my wife an I was referred to Mike Shad by a friend that directed me to speak with the General Manager, Jim Lampke. After introductions Jim introduced my wife and I to salesman Chad Henson who worked to listen first and confirm what we were asking. We had been to a few dealerships before and were already receiving follow up phone calls, against my wife’s request not to call. My wife told Chad what she wanted and ultimately directed her to the Mustang! After a test drive, feeling she was not satisfied, suggested she drive a 2nd Mustang - GT before she made her decision. His listening to her pad off in two ways; 1 the car blew her away!, 2 he did NOT call one time over the next week. Two weeks later we went back to re-test drive the car she thought she wanted and again went back to Mike Shad Ford and again test drove the Mustang GT. She went with the Mustang and Chad Henson, Jim Lampke and the rest of the team at Mike Shad won our business! They found the exact car she wanted and had it delivered the next week. When we went to pick it up, we sat down with the finance department; they explained the different options for financing and made our choice. Then he explained the different warranty coverage’s and we made our choice. We chose a lesser package than the Full coverage and at no point did we feel they were trying to ‘pressure’ us into a more expensive option. The experience was AMAZING!!! ALL THAT WITH NO PRESSURE SALES AT ANY POINT!! I have always had good experiences in buying a car but this one was the BEST EVER! I was so impressed that I went back and bought a new F-150 Lariat three weeks later! Again Chad spent the time to listen to what I wanted and began to search the fleet for my truck. Ultimately we ordered a truck built to my desires and it was delivered in the window of time they said it would be there. As for service after the sale, WOW! We are going to a Sync class to learn how to use all the new gadgets and technology that is in our new vehicles and I will let you know how that goes. Just a note, Chad synced our phones to our vehicles before we left the dealership and spent 15-20 minutes covering the basics of our cars systems. I have recommended Chad, Jim and Mike Shad Ford to everyone that has asked about my new cars, which this is my first Ford purchase in 51 years! That was the most stress free car buying experience anyone in my family ever had and we've purchased 10 cars within the last 10 years. The day started off at 10am when I was browsing for new cars with anyone in my family ever had and we've purchased 10 cars within the last 10 years. The day started off at 10am when I was browsing for new cars within my price range, with the feature I like, with the color I like and with a price discount. I looked at Ford Dealerships in the surrounding area for a Black 2012 Ford Focus SEL sedan. I found one at the Mike Shad Ford at the Avenues website and requested more information about the vehicle. Within minutes of the request, Gabriel of Mike Shad Ford called me on my phone about the car. I told him I could meet him at the dealer in 30 minutes to look at the car. When I got to Mike Shad Ford, the specific car that I requested was parked in front of the dealership, with my name on it, ready for me to look at and test drive. Gabriel met us outside and told us everything there is to know about the vehicle. He was very courteous and not pushy unlike most salespersons. He also showed us other the other trims of the Ford Focus within my price range that I could possibly like but I decided that I like the SEL trim the best. When we it was time to talk about the price of the vehicle, Gabriel presented me in paper the best price he could offer me. The paper contained how he came up with the price, breakdown of what every feature cost, and the dealership gets. Nothing was hidden. Since I've researched the prices dealers pay the factory for the car, I knew that what was contained in the paper was the truth. I didn't even had to haggle. I got the best price for that car. Also, the financing manager found us the lowest apr and all the discounts we could get ($2200 instant rebates and a 1.74% apr). The whole ordeal only took us 3 hours.
