Couldn’t fix car issue. Spent hours to try to get someone on phone leaving multiple voicemails. Went to pick up car at service center with flat bed tow service and no one Spent hours to try to get someone on phone leaving multiple voicemails. Had to pay for parts upfront for them to even order them, was told parts would be in in about a week. Called and left message for service manager one week after ordering parts. that was on a Friday late in t was told parts would be in in about a week. Called and left message for service manager one week after ordering parts. that was on a Friday late in the day, Monday was a holiday so didn't expect to hear back, Tuesday no call. Wednesday no call so I left another message for Service manager. Also called Ford Advocacy Line following Friday when I had no returned call by then and it was two weeks after paying out almost $2000 dollars for parts. Ford claim person also had difficulty getting dealership to return calls.Service writer returns from vacation following Wed. and calls to ask if anyone called me to let me know parts were there. I said, "No", she asked when I would like to schedule the repair, and it would take two days to complete. I said Monday would be good , they only have one Transmission tech so I thought if I give them some advance they can have mine scheduled and prioritized, dropped off Monday expecting to pick up Tuesday Eve/Wed. morning. Tuesday afternoon Ford claim person called , said they were trying to get info from dealership but they would not have car ready that day, dealership didn't call me to let me know. Same routine when I dropped to off for diagnosis, dropped on Monday, no call, Tuesday no call, Wednesday afternoon I call, they see its me and ask to call me back, when they call back they say they found out that morning but hadn't had time to call me; verdict was major transmission repair. (this on a vehicle designed with the max tow package that has never towed more than a motorcycle, and overwhelming majority of its barely out of warranty miles are highway cruising speed.) Day three of repair and dealership says repair won't be done for another day, when I ask why they said there was a job ahead of me that needed done, I asked how that could be when mine was scheduled ahead of time for the one tech they had. but they told me they were trying to save me money by sending the info to Ford advocacy team. That only happened because I involved them, not the dealership. and at that point the dealership was only doing what Ford needed them to do and send the info. So at end of day on forth day of repair I go to pick up vehicle, and they want to charge me additional $, and have no record of what I already paid for parts ordering. Had they not been able to call service writer after-hours and get resolved I would have had to pay more to get vehicle then and then try to get my money back. Ford advocacy did step up to help make the situation right. I will continue to consider Fords for future purchases. Autonation dealership did everything they could to lose my future business; and they succeeded! I went to this dealership out of loyalty having known people that worked there, most of those people are gone, and their service team seems woefully unable to meet the needs of their customers. More
Service this time was just OK. Tome failed to call when done. Frank saved the day when he actually answered my call at 5:45. We made it there just before closing. We took a Lexus hybrid for a test drive, it was good. It was clean on the outside but filthy on the inside. Food splattered from the front to the back. The front seats were totally trashed and Fadil Ababaseh ( sales manager?) didn’t offer to do anything about it. That car should have been cleaned and detailed before anyone saw it. While we were signing papers it was taken to be cleaned. Nothing was done (well, maybe the tires were sprayed) so I sent it back again, I asked the sales man (Doug Hastings) if he saw what I saw. He said yeah but didn’t really seem to care. Got the car back the second time, just as bad. If it wasn’t a really good running car I would have walked away. Took me 3 hours to clean it. The punk with the attitude that “details” the cars should be fired. So, yeah not a fan of this place. To end on a positive note, Noel Garza (finance guy) was super cool, too good for that place. More
