87 days after i purchased a used Escape the power steering went out. I called for a service appointment and was given an appointment the next week do to heavy demand. The steering repair cost $200 steering went out. I called for a service appointment and was given an appointment the next week do to heavy demand. The steering repair cost $2000 and my claim as denied because the warranty expired 5 days after the wearranty expired. I argued that the malfunction occurred within the warranty periode but the dealer pushed back because the problem was not diagnosed with int 90 days. Be wary purchasing from this dealer. More
Be sure to check the date on the tires and battery, because less than 6 hours after pulling out of the lot, one of the 11 year old tires literally exploded, and after a month I'm still waiting for reim because less than 6 hours after pulling out of the lot, one of the 11 year old tires literally exploded, and after a month I'm still waiting for reimbursement from the dealership for just one tire despite needing to buy an entire set. The battery was also nearly 8 years old and setting it up to a battery tester showed it had at most a week of life left. Good thing I tested it since I guess they didn't. Calling the dealership is like pulling teeth to get an answer out of anyone. And the sales rep who sold me the vehicle and said to contact him if I had an issues vanished as soon as I left the door. I'm not leaving one star because the truck hasn't been engulfed in flames nor any other issues, but you'd expect a dealership to at least properly maintain the cars themselves, since I had to spend $500+ on something the dealership should be responsible for. We agreed to buy it though because it was a pretty good price. Having driven over an hour to collect it a few days later - having been promised it no longer smelled - we found the seats were still badly stained and despite alledgedly having an ozone treatment the car still smelled of dog. While they offered to re-treat the car to deal with the odor, since it's a three hour trek for us to go there and back (at best), we decided to just take it and clean it ourselves (which is when we found that it had been poorly cleaned - there were still envelopes and food wrappers under the false floor in the trunk, and dog hair under the seats where the fold). So: Price: pretty fair Dealer fees: okay (and they weren't super pushy about warranties and extras) Promises to clean: take with a massive pinch of salt. More

The service department likes to take their time and doesn’t try to get you out as soon as possible.
