I had an appointment at 11:40am for a lab oil change & 2 recalls needed to be done on my new bronco sport. I showed up on time, the guy taking in my car was super nice. I initially marked my appointment as recalls needed to be done on my new bronco sport. I showed up on time, the guy taking in my car was super nice. I initially marked my appointment as a waiting appointment but the day had changed so I said I was leaving it for a couple of hours & I’d be back in a bit, figure that way they got a little wiggle room if something came up & I didn’t have to sit there for an hour. So 3 1/2 hrs go by & there is no call from the service department, so I call them, surely my car is done OR if they had a problem I would have known by now. That’s when I get the displeasure of dealing with Stevie & his complete cockiness & unprofessionalism. Before I can even finish my sentence to ask what’s up with my car, he cuts me off telling me “they’re taking it now” … NOW? 3 1/2 hrs AFTER my appointment time. I tell him I’ll be back to the dealership in about and hour, I’m then told he’ll call me if it’s ready, sir, no matter what I’ll be there, I need my car & you’ve ample time to get it done or alert me to an issue. He then says “we’ll if it’s ready you can have it” and blows me off. I show up an hour & a half later, & again he cuts me off saying it’s “almost done” I say “almost done as in 10/20/30 minute? And hour” .. he tells me 30 mins. An HOUR later I have to go to him & say “Steve is done yet what’s going on?!” He tells me it’s done and has the audacity to THROW the keys at me on the counter at me. Slam a car coupon on the counter and proceeds to tell me they could only do one recall & the parts for the other recall he doesn’t know when they’ll get or what they call me. Sounds pretty on point for the service Steve provides. FIVE HOURS later my car is ready. Five hours for an oil change & a small recall. Never again will I go to this dealership, what an absolute dick Steve was. I can’t believe he has a job there still. Incredibly rude. More
The relationship started well. However, I found that my driver’s side mirror didn’t work on the drive home. I texted George. He said to come in and he would see about getting service to fix it. I came in, spent my time and gas and was told the car was AS-IS and you would not fix it. If that is your Store policy, why did I waste my time and $$ to drive to Bellevue ? I was told that a functioning drivers mirror is not a safety issue and was not part of the 50 point safety inspection. I like the car so far but the service has something to be desired. I had offered to buy a new mirror if you guys would install it for me. That seemed like a nice compromise. Nope. Not store policy. All of this could have been done over the phone or you could have been nice and met me half way with my suggested fix. It felt more like “we have your $$, you have a car, we are done” It felt like a bad way to end the relationship and I am not inclined to have anything positive to say about this dealership. I hope that helps how you deal with the next customer. I will not be back for my next car. More
