Garth tried to force extended waranty and low jack into the deal. His example of the particulate filter costing $1000's of dollars is a joke since it is covered for 100,000 miles any way. Strike one. My first experience with the service department is the free service. I do the second oil change and the oil filter is on so tight I have to drive screwdriver through it have someone pulling on it while I use a wrench on filter to get it to release. Strike two. At less than 15,000 miles exhast brake quit working and started getting an exhaust smell in cab. Aug. 16 brought back to service I was told egr was clogged and brake was working properly. The exhaust smell was not corrected, brake still did not work. Srike three. Would have got out of truck if I could of got what I owed on it. After trying Perkins went back CS dodge Andy Barela went for a ride with me agreed brake was not right and smelled exhaust. Service dept took 2 days to find exhuast leak on manifold 2 more days to repair. Brake still does not work. Star recomends to check transmission. 2 days to tell me its fine. Star wants to run a template. Advisor tells me may or may not solve problem does not know how it works. I want a better explanation of template. I ask Andy he does not know how to explain it to me. I tell him I feel like they are making me jump throuh hoops. Andy tells me I am inconveniencing him wasting 1.5 days of his time and I'm lucky he's dealing with me. 1 trip to Limon fixed in less than 24 hours. Well worth the drive. More
