I had been trying to sell my truck for about a month and got frustrated and impatient and decided to just trade it in. I new what I wanted so last Saturday, I was reading the used car adds in the paper and got frustrated and impatient and decided to just trade it in. I new what I wanted so last Saturday, I was reading the used car adds in the paper and COS Dodge had several of them on their lot. I have been taking my truck to them for service for a couple of years and was very impressed with their service department. So I called them and asked for the best salesman they had and Joel answered the call. He was very friendly and knowledgeable (and by the way, he still is) so I went down there that afternoon. I told him what I was looking for and we test drove three vehicles that I was interested in. I found exactly what I was looking for and drove it home to show my wife. She agreed that this particular vehicle would be a great addition to our garage (and it would fit in the garage, unlike the truck) so we went back to the dealership and by then they had already worked up the numbers for the trade and for the new (to me) purchase. I asked if the deal they were offering was the best they could do for me and Joel asked me what I thought was fair and I said take another $500 off and BOOM! It was a done deal! I felt like we were treated well and was happy with the deal so ZIP! we were off to the finance department where we met Scott Denham who BANG! took care of the paper work like the professional that he is (and friendy too) and just like that, I was driving home in my new (to me) SUV. It was a great experience. I have read a lot of these reviews that other folks have written and most of them are real high ratings. There are a few not so good but hey, mistakes happen, people get grumpy and some people are never satisfied. I would recommend COS Dodge and Joel to anybody asking my opinion. More

When I first started speaking with Matt and Luis I was at the dealership getting the oil changed in my wife's Caliber. I had been hoping to find a new Ram Sport that was in my price range. Matt approached us the dealership getting the oil changed in my wife's Caliber. I had been hoping to find a new Ram Sport that was in my price range. Matt approached us and asked how he could help. He was very helpful and took me out for a test drive in the blue Ram Sport that was at the lot. I sat down with him and Luis and decided that it would be best to bring in my 2008 Ram and see what I could get on a trade in. 2 days later I returned to get my oil changed in my Ram and to follow up with Matt. Neither Matt nor Luis was working that day, but I was approached by Bob, who said that he would be able to help me. I sat down with Bob and told him flat out that I was approved by my bank for $34,000. After telling him that I owed $19,000 on my current Ram, he said that there might be some negative equity, which I was fully aware of. I also informed Bob that I was told by Luis and Matt that they would give me $8,000 in incentives. I also explained to Bob that I was looking for a black Ram Sport that was a Quad cab. Bob came back and told me that he didn't know where Luis and Matt got the $8000 from, but that he could give me $6000 in incentives. He also had found a couple trucks, but they were still out of my range. I explained to him that if I could get the $8000 in incentives it might be in my range. Bob told me that wasn't possible and became irritated with me when I told him the prices were still too high. I asked if he could get ahold of Matt or Luis and he said that he could not. He became rude and pushy because I was not going to go out of my price range for the Rams that he had presented to me so I decided that I would not be buying from Colorado Springs Dodge and would keep looking elsewhere. I thanked him for his time and told him that it just wasn't possible for me at this time with those prices. He said nothing. He got up, did not shake my hand, did not give me his card and walked away. I walked out of the show room and at that point Bob chased me down with another vehicle that they had found. The price was right. I asked Bob if it had Navigation. He told me that it did not. That a Ram Sport priced at $41000 would not have navigation, because it was a $2800 add on. I looked at the sheet he had of the specs on the truck and right next to "Media Center 430N" it said "NAV". I had done my homework and knew that it did come with navigation. I asked him what the N A V was and he did not know, but assured me that it was not navigation. He then walked over to the blue Ram Sport in the showroom and said that it did not have NAV either, because he was looking for a NAV button. However, because Matt took me on a test drive in that vehicle I knew that it did have navigation. Realizing that Bob did not know what he was talking about, I told him that if he could work the price down to my range I would consider it and I decided to call Matt myself to see if I could come back another day and get it from him. Matt told me that he would be in as soon as he could. I waited for my wife and Matt to show up before I started the paperwork. Matt took excellent care of us and answered all of our questions. If he didn't know, he did not make up some story, he said, "I am not sure, but I will find out." My wife and I really appreciated Matt's patience and hard work in making this happen for us. I hope that he will get the full commission and not have to share it with Bob, who almost cost Colorado Springs Dodge a customer. Thanks to Matt we will continue to be loyal customers to Colorado Springs Dodge. If it wasn't for Bob, the marks that I gave on this evaluation would be excellent across the board. More

My wife and I initially worked with Joel just about a month ago. He was VERY friendly and helpful. We called him back just the other day since we were ready to buy. When we went to the dealership later that night, we discovered that Joel was on vacation the entire time, in California, and was still working to earn our business!!! We were VERY impressed with that service. I wouldn't have expected someone to work THAT hard for our business. He was on VACATION, he was supposed to be enjoying himself. But we were very impressed for that type of dedication. He was working with Joe and BC at the dealership at the same time, whom we were referred to once we arrived.
