Here at Colorado Springs Dodge, we participate in programs like DealerRater Certified Dealer Program, to enhance the communications to/from customers. There are times when our attempts to resolve a complaint may not result in a satisfactory review. We _are_ committed to providing high quality customer service, however based on your DealerRater review, you did not share that experience. Our senior management personally addressed the issues described in this review. In this case, the customer selected and drove the selected vehicle. Negotiated a price, with the vehicle explicitly sold in the condition observed. Upon arriving at home, customer noticed that below the wipers there was a crack along the base of the windshield. The following Monday, customer contacted me to see if we would do the "right thing". In our view, we knew nothing of the crack before the sale, negotiated a price equipped and in the condition received at delivery. Expecting the dealer to just "absorb" the cost seems a bit incredulous. We offered to credit the customer with 1/3 the cost of a new windshield as a goodwill gesture. Customer became argumentative and simply would not accept anything except her way (and frankly did not want to "listen" to anything that was not what she wanted to hear). Regretfully, we realize that although we strive for 100% customer satisfaction, there are instances when that goal may not be possible.
