Terrible follow-up I recommend you find another dealer--go anywhere but Colorado Springs Dodge. Our salesman was terrific, the sales manager was terrific, but we've had I recommend you find another dealer--go anywhere but Colorado Springs Dodge. Our salesman was terrific, the sales manager was terrific, but we've had nothing but frustration since we sealed the deal to pay cash for a 2017 Dodge Ram. We're OK with the truck, it lived up to the research we had done, but they didn't even fill the gas tank before we left the lot. We complained that it makes them look cheap and shoddy but it was too late. Then, over the next few days, the truck failed to start on the first try a few times and I had couldn't get the dealership to call me back. I eventually went in person and they did some testing while we sat around the waiting area and came back to say it seemed fine but bad gas and a tank that had never been filled might be the cause. The sales manager took it to get it filled, we reiterated that it seemed crummy to have sent us out with $10 in gas in the first place, and haven't had mechanical problems since. The main complaint was our inability to get a response without me having to go to the dealer. Since then, however, we received a check in the mail from the dealer. Seems nice at first but, when I called to ask what it was for, they said it was a refund on my sales taxes and I'd have to pay them when I went to the DMV. That clearly seemed wrong so I tried to get it straightened out on the phone with no luck. Once again, I headed down there and met with the title clerk and a finance guy named Garth. The title clerk said it didn't seem right, Garth said it was how they always handle cash sales, we took their word and headed to the DMV. The tax receipt was wrong so I guess we could have just lied about the whole thing and registered the truck without paying but, when I explained it to the DMV agent, they felt it was wrong and called the dealer. After some discussion they seemed to sort it out so we were prepared to pay the taxes to the DMV but realized a credit card wouldn't work since they charge a % instead of a flat fee--so we headed home to transfer funds to checking and said we'd be back in a few days. The DMV tried to save us time by having us come back to see the same agent but after several trips the guy was never there; so, I eventually went to another agent and started over. That person called the dealer, again, but this time the business manager said they'd made a terrible mistake and I'd have to pay the dealer the taxes before I could register the truck. Wow. I was livid by this point but returned to the dealership to go over the details yet again. This is over a month since I bought the truck, they've wasted hours and hours of my time, and besides an apology the best they'd offer to make it right was a free wash and to fill the tank. I told them I was offended that that's all they think my time is worth and won't trust them to touch the truck again. Just frustrated that the customer service has been so terrible and it has taken me 3 trips to the dealership and 4 trips to the DMV to finally get this thing done. More
Frustrating Bought a 2015 challenger. Was happy with the car, and the salesman. Had a hardship happen within the first 18 hours of owning the car, found out I had Bought a 2015 challenger. Was happy with the car, and the salesman. Had a hardship happen within the first 18 hours of owning the car, found out I had more important financial obligations and asked if there was anything I could do to return the car. Basically was told i bought it, I own it. Fair enough. The finance department was pushy on the service contract. I think I said no at least 5 times before I was frustrated and just wanted to leave. Then 5 days later I get a call saying they had to switch banks, I asked if the payment was going to change but was assured it was all staying the same. To my surprise finance tells me the monthly payment was going to increase. Finally got it to the price we agreed on after 20 minutes after being treated pretty disrrspectfully by Garth. I took my paperwork and left. Will never be returning, nor recommending them to anyone. Can't even enjoy my new car because I'm so frustrated. More

Well, long stor I own a Dodge Ram now,and because I live in downtown Colorado Springs, I took it to Perkins to discuss recall and oil change services. Well, long story short, I left without making an appointment and went straight to Colorado Springs Dodge where I was treated with respect and give a service the next day which was my last weekday off. I couldn't be happier! They quoted me an hour and a half..it was done early and I'm on my way! Thank you Colorado Springs Dodge for your amazing service!! More
Lying, Deceptive, and Masters of the Bait and Switch We went and test drove a car we liked in the early evening, but ended up leaving the dealership to grab dinner and make a decision on whether or not w We went and test drove a car we liked in the early evening, but ended up leaving the dealership to grab dinner and make a decision on whether or not we wanted to purchase the car. After dinner we decided we did, and emailed the sales person letting him know of our decision. The sales person responded that there was no other interested parties and that the vehicle was ares. He recommended that we call him at 9:00 am when the dealership opened for business to start the money process. We called the next morning and the sales person took our credit card information in order to put a $1,000 hold on the vehicle. He verbally confirmed the car was ours and that all was set. Later that night we got a call from the sales person saying that the car, in fact, was already sold to someone else. He told us a vague story about how the car was sold at 6:00 am that morning; sold hours before the dealership supposedly opens. He apologized and moved right into trying to sell us a more expensive car. It's hard not to think they played us with a bait and switch; especially, days later, seeing the same car that was supposedly sold, on their website for sale. Especially, when they took our credit card information to reserve the car, only to get a call 12 hours later that it was sold prior to that. These people are dishonest and skeezy and I would not recommend shopping here or doing business with them. The kicker, was the manager John, who was belligerent, confrontational, insulting, and escalated the conversation when I brought it to his attention that we were lied to. More
Colorado Springs Dodge Service Department is poor I scheduled a service appointment so I would get better quality of service, but when it was all said and done it was a disaster. To get my HVAC diagn I scheduled a service appointment so I would get better quality of service, but when it was all said and done it was a disaster. To get my HVAC diagnosed and get an oil change took over 6 hours. It probably would of been even longer if I didn't show up at the 5 hour mark. The rep didn't even offer to wash my vehicle. Worst experience. More
Horrible Money Thirsty People!!! We will never go through Colorado Springs dodge again! They're always "too busy" and "short staffed" to help you with anything. Even when you're stand We will never go through Colorado Springs dodge again! They're always "too busy" and "short staffed" to help you with anything. Even when you're standing right in front of them saying "excuse me". They're too concerned about their casual conversations with their coworkers to help. And, once you get their attention, they sell the vehicle you're looking at (that they showed you) right out from under you! This didn't happen once, but twice. The third time, my husband overheard them talking about selling the vehicle out from under us again!!! Then, they took their merry old time paying off the loan on our trade in (2 weeks to be exact)! Therefore, a payment for a vehicle we no longer possessed came out of our account!!! We called and called and called. No one would answer or return voice messages (left in every department)! I had to physically pack up my child and march into the building and get loud for anyone to pay attention to me! I was the ONLY "customer" in the building. And, they had the NERVE to say they were short staffed as three different groups of 5 people each stood around talking and joking amongst themselves!!!!! Then, they didn't file paper work correctly and we had to go back to sign more not once, but twice! And now, our temporary tags have expired without the proper paperwork having been received through the mail. Now, I know there is a SLIGHT possibility it is still on the way or the dmv is at fault. But, with the experience we've had with this location, I don't doubt that it's the dealership's error! More

The finance guy had lied to us saying the clutch was covered in the warrenty. Turned out it was not. He rushed through our paper work because he was wanting to leave out of town. Not one person called us back after they dileberitly said they would the following Monday. They knew I was registering the vehicle in another city and they refuse to pay for the emissions as they are supposed to. Our main frustration is that a dealership will help within the first 30 days and we were told they would help us out so they had gave us the run around until it was passed our day and that we have been continuously lied to. Incompetent Slow, terrible service. Management does not return calls. Do not buy or use this dealer!!!! Sold new car that was in need of repair. No follow up. Slow, terrible service. Management does not return calls. Do not buy or use this dealer!!!! Sold new car that was in need of repair. No follow up. They did not submit paperwork for two months. They refused to give extension for temp tag even though they submitted title paperwork late. Employee talks over customers. DMV said they need 60 days to compete title. Dealer gave them 10 days. DMV said deal can give a 60 day temp tag extension. DMV can only give a 30 day extension. We need the dealer 60 day exension to cover turn around. Dealer refuses. Update: Dealer said I can take title submission date and receipt number to DMV to get plates. So, I did. After two hours waiting because DMV could not find my title, DMV called Dealer to confirm receipt number. Dealer gave same one over the phone. DMV asked for faxed copy. Faxed copy had different receipt number. Too late to finish. Had to go back another day. More
Poor customer experience overall The young man I met with (Eric) was the best part of the vehicle purchase experience. Eric was pleasant and helpful. Unfortunately, it ended there. The young man I met with (Eric) was the best part of the vehicle purchase experience. Eric was pleasant and helpful. Unfortunately, it ended there. The trade allowance for my vehicles was very low. I had (2) great trucks for trade. They low balled me big time on trade-in. They were stubborn and didn't budge on their sale vehicle; claiming it was the "lowest priced RAM in the state" on that day. Who cares? Work with me...the buyer, today! The finance guy (Garth) was a total xxxxxx. Very pushy, injected his opinion well after I had stated my decision(s) on add-on products/services. I waited well over an hour just to sign the closing paperwork, and that didn't set me up well for trying to sell me on add-on's. I'd fire this guy if I was on the leadership team there. They're now selling one of my trucks for what they gave me on trade-in for both. That's HUGE mark up and margin, so don't be fooled. They don't have what they want you believe in prep and out-of-pocket costs into the vehicles they're selling. I still don't know who my RAM truck is financed with. It could be one of three institutions. I will be double checking with my preferred financing institution (of the three) to verify if the finance group at Colorado Springs Dodge did what I asked them to do. Oh yeah - and I should've received an emissions voucher for Douglas county, but instead I was told to pay for it and bring them the receipt (a 35 mile one-way trip for me to bring the receipt to them). I am a DETRACTOR of Colorado Springs Dodge. They need to learn customer experience from their neighbors, Fairicy Boys, where I bought my wife's vehicle. I will continue to post my displeasure all over and where I can about Colorado Springs Dodge. "If you don't know Colorado Springs Dodge...don't bother to do so." More

The impression of the dealership went downhill when I sat down to discuss financial options with Mr. Garth Wilson. His demeanor was condescending and attempted to up-sale on options that were of no interest to me. When I denied these packages, his friendliness diminished making it a very unpleasant experience as if I were an inconvenience for him. As I read the estimates, I can hear his fingers tapping on the desk rushing me. Had I known that this was the norm in Colorado Springs Dodge with Mr. Wilson, I would have taken my business elsewhere. What kept me from walking out that day was the low inventory in other dealerships due to the July Hail damage in Colorado Springs. I am a seasoned shopper and could only imagine how young and inexperienced buyers could potentially be susceptible to a misleading sales pitch to purchase additional options. More
