Excellent dealer and by far the best salesman we went to Hilton Head Auto Mall a week ago today. Had the privilege of having Mr. Justin Hauglum wait on us. We drove away with a 2015 Hyundai Elan we went to Hilton Head Auto Mall a week ago today. Had the privilege of having Mr. Justin Hauglum wait on us. We drove away with a 2015 Hyundai Elantra. After driving it for one week, I felt the car was not suitable. And it had some minor driving problems that did not exist when we bought the car. The dealership was definitely not to blame, nor was Justin. We took it back to be looked at and detailed. to my surprise, Justin offered to work a deal for another car. WOW, how often does a dealer and sales person offer to do this. He was so understanding, so kind in listening to my concerns. When we test drove the Toyota, I realized how great the car was. No hassle, no problem with dealer, but above all Justin was the best. So please, go see Justin Hauglum. He will have your best interest at heart. No pressure. He listens and finds the perfect car for you. We will definitely go back! More

He spend a great deal of time discussing our particular needs with us. We test drove several vehicles but never tried to encourage us to accept less than we were looking for. In the end, he located and the sales managers were able to acquire, within a reasonable distance, what my wife and I feel is the perfect 2016 Wrangler Unlimited choice. It is in the Rhino paint color equipped with the options we preferred. I have already distributed two of John's business cards to interested acquaintances. More

wife love the color at first sight really was only window shopping but that changed when we saw the color. Just dont care Just a little background on my first experience buying a car from a dealer. I purchased a used 2 year old grand Cherokee for the Hilton Head CJD deale Just a little background on my first experience buying a car from a dealer. I purchased a used 2 year old grand Cherokee for the Hilton Head CJD dealership in December. Once driving out 45 minutes to pick it up, they inform me that it wont be ready due to the fact that there is a headlight problem and the ONLY mechanic that can fix it is on Vacation, so i have to wait 4 days to pick it up. I had already traded mine vehicle in so they had to give me a loaner, which i in turn find out that they didnt have authorization to loan out and forced me to drive back another 45 minutes to trade it out. When i finally did get my car, the second i got home, the engine light went off saying i needed an oil change. I took it back and they had forgot to put fluid and change the oil.... After that was done, 1 week later the engine light went off again forcing me to drive back again. At this point i was pretty much fed up and wrote a review on this site detailing my unpleasant experience. Of course, the GM of CJD, called me right away and asked why i had written such a bad review to which i responded, why shouldn't i have?? He said unless i take the review down there was nothing he could do to help me....RIDICULOUS. He said that some cars just are like this and he would be happy to get me in another vehicle. Of course the next closest priced Jeep was $6k more than what i paid and i said i couldn't do that. So he said he'd keep an eye out for any other vehicles that come close to that price range and would let me know. After two more engine light problems that i have had to go back for, still not a word from him and i have monitored their inventory seeing a few different options he could have offered me. When i went back, for the last engine light issue in February, he said why didnt you tell me???? Yesterday, my engine light went off for the 4th time.. I called and left FOUR messages with the manager asking him politely to call me back. He even saw me when i had to go in and would not come talk to me. He has yet to call me back and that was over three weeks ago. In summary, the sales managers will do and say whatever it takes to make the sale and make the dealership look good when in fact they dont give a hoot about the customer. I would highly discourage anyone from buying a car from this dealership. STAY AWAY More
