Buyer Beware. .. 1000% Regret doing business with AutoNation Chevrolet Gilbert! This dealership plays a dirty game.. you can't trust what they say/provide you in writing.. their customer focus is no longer a priority after a vehicle is purchased. I was not prepared to deal with my current situation, but here it is ... I purchased a new Malibu on 1/23/25 and I'm still waiting for AutoNation Chevrolet Gilbert to send the payoff to satisfy my loan on the vehicle I traded in and I'm also still waiting to receive the "dealer installed" sticker items I paid for (floor liner package, cargo mat, spare tire, black painted bowties -see pics). What is preventing AutoNation from doing what they acknowledged they would do within 10 days from the date of my purchase? It's now been 151 days (104 business days) since my purchase and I'm still waiting... wow. This is totally unacceptable! I've had great experiences at other AutoNation locations over the years, so I assumed (incorrectly) I would have another seamless purchase occur at AutoNation Chevrolet Gilbert... 1000% Wrong. Huge mistake! Dealing with this dealership has been a total nightmare... I've had to engage the AZ Attorney General office just to get AutoNation Chevrolet Gilbert to respond. The AZAG Team has been working to facilitate our communication and I'm also now working with a consumer protection attorney. :( I'll update progress. Buying a new vehicle should be an exciting time...If you're considering to purchase at AutoNation Chevrolet Gilbert ... you should think twice (or more). Choose another dealership and avoid the risk... I never anticipated I would be going through such a horrible customer experience with this dealership, and it only continues to get worse. :( More
Ivan took an incredible care of me! Even, I was just going for information because I didn't have an appointment, and he managed to get me attended today.. I'm completely grateful! Shop was busy with a lot of vehicles, but my service was kept under 3 hours which I didn't think was too bad considering all that was done with my truck. kept under 3 hours which I didn't think was too bad considering all that was done with my truck. More
They worked a deal with me on a vehicle that wasn't even at the dealership and unable to be sold. I filled out the application and was approved. They lended it out the day I had a confirmed appointment with at the dealership and unable to be sold. I filled out the application and was approved. They lended it out the day I had a confirmed appointment with them. Saleswoman told me at 9am that the vehicle would be waiting for me at our 1:30pm appointment time. At 12:50pm, she told me the vehicle was in fact not there and wouldn't be back till Saturday. Meaning more miles on the vehicle. Told them I wasn't comfortable signing a contract on a vehicle that wasn't physically there AND some other customer was driving. Their excuse was it didn't have enough miles on it to "retire and sell" which is why they sent it back out that day. When I asked the manager how many miles it needed to have in order to retire and sell, he stated 2,000. The paperwork showed it had 2940 miles and growing since someone else was driving it. We walked out at that point. Bad business, terrible representation of lease numbers (providing them on a "purchase" template and making excuses for the math not making sense) and not credibility. Don't work numbers on a car you can't actually sell JUST to get a customer in the door. We got the complete run around "what about different color, trim, model or even a brand new one for the same payment?!" Such a joke. More
