Don’t be like me …I’m “that guy” ... I foolishly believed AutoNation would honor their written promises and follow up on their commitments related to a new vehicle purchase. I bought a vehicle nearly 12 months ago and the problems started immediately. They promised to: • Send payoff check on the vehicle I traded in • Provide Dealer‑installed items I paid for • Correct pricing to match dealership advertised price and accepted written offer rebate • Provide proper documentation None of it happened. So.. I followed up. And then I followed up. Again. And again. And again. Silence. 363 days since my vehicle purchase. 259 business days of being ignored . A “48‑hour corporate team follow up response promise” that has never been fulfilled . Still waiting. Still pushing. Still no resolution. What is preventing AutoNation Chevrolet Gilbert from fulfilling their promises? So much wasted time and energy... Wow. Sad. Embarrassing. Previous vehicle purchases at other AutoNation dealerships provided a consistent extraordinary customer experience. Never saw this coming… When AutoNation Chevrolet Gilbert does you wrong, it is so wrong... it will make your head spin, and it just keeps going. This isn’t a misunderstanding. It’s a pattern. After test driving a vehicle we selected a different one that had leather seats and the sales person said it had a HUD which it did not. Didn’t notice till after the vehicle was delivered due to it needing that had leather seats and the sales person said it had a HUD which it did not. Didn’t notice till after the vehicle was delivered due to it needing a battery change. Have taken it in twice for the camera that goes to the rearview mirror intermittently going out. Both times they said could not duplicate so did nothing to try and diagnose the problem. Sent the device advisor a picture showing the camera out and asked what needed to be done for them to investigate the problem and he informed me they needed to see the problem to actually try and fix it. More
