My 1999 GMC Sierra 2500 is stuck in Security mode and needs a radiator swap. They’ve had my pickup in the shop for over a week and I’ve had to call them every day to get updates. They always have short n needs a radiator swap. They’ve had my pickup in the shop for over a week and I’ve had to call them every day to get updates. They always have short non-answers and nobody will call back when they say they will. I found out yesterday that they just finally did the diagnostic and found out what the problem is (supposedly) and the parts haven’t even been ordered yet. I sent a new radiator with the truck. So with nothing accomplished, if I go pick up my vehicle (pay for another tow truck) they want basically $200 because they hooked up their computer to it when we already knew the problem is in the pass lock 2 theft deterrent resistor (and they haven’t touched the radiator) Not happy at all! We were supposed to move out of state last Monday, but we’re waiting on this place to get their act together. I called and left a message with the service manager this morning. I still haven’t heard back, but I’ll update this if my opinion changes at all. I should have just taken the truck to ‘Dad’s Garage’. He would have been done with it days ago. That’s the last time I don’t listen to my gut. More
The problem I have with most dealership online is, if I text them a question, I would get a reply, but not the answer to my question. It is mostly with a phone call or come on down to the dealership.
