I was pressured to make a deal from the moment I walked in and met with the salesman. Several times he left to "negotiate" with his manager on a price quote that he had given me. When he came back with the paper with the price on it he asked, "So do we have a deal?" before I even had a chance to look at the proposal! Also, the salesman I spoke to addressed me as 'buddy' every time I spoke to him - not professional at all. They took my keys and registration from my car to appraise it and didn't give the keys back until I was at the door ready to go - perhaps a good technique as it keeps people from just walking out, which I certainly would have done. I also did not receive my registration back and had to drive back to the dealership to get it (the GM I spoke with did apologize and said the salesman should have given it back to me with my keys - so this apology was the one good thing that came out of the whole situation). When I was asked about a deal from another dealership I told what was offered and was told, "that is impossible....etc." I felt like he was calling me a liar, which he pretty much was. To offer his explanation why he gave me the print out of the payment breakdown and told me, (exact quote): "This is math. This is how math works." Is he serious? How much more can you insult me? First call me a liar then call me stupid. And finally, when I finally had the opportunity to leave I thanked the salesman for his time and efforts to try to sell me a car and went to shake his hand. The salesman had his eyes planted on his computer screen and blindly reached around to shake my hand, didn't even look at me. I left there extremely angry and can honestly say I will never go back to an Ira Dealership for any purpose. More

We went the following day, speaking first with Dan Gilday sales manager and then to Ron Young sales rep. At no time did we feel pressure and we asked questions which were answered by both gentlemen. they were both friendly and very courteous. When the time came to take the car out for a test drive, i don't think i drove it for more than 5 minutes, and i knew this was the car for me. I really love my highlander. Previous to this car i had a previa which i really enjoyed driving, it was a realiable car so i knew when the time came it would again be another toyota. Finally we spoke to eric and he too was most accomadating, friendly, courteous and answered our questions too. I would most definitely recommend ira toyota to our family and friends when they are in need of a new car. It was a most gratifying experience. It was a great experience. I was not hurried thru my experience. The dealer's employes were all very appropriate and friendly. Ira Toyota in Tewksbury really knows the meaning of old fashioned service. I had been to 2 other Toyota dealers where no one even had the courtesy of acknowledging my existence. As soon as I walked into fashioned service. I had been to 2 other Toyota dealers where no one even had the courtesy of acknowledging my existence. As soon as I walked into Ira Toyota I was greeted by Seng who did a great job of listening to what I did and did not want and brought around the perfect example for me to test drive. While I was waiting on the sidewalk, I was greeted and asked if I needed help from a woman that worked in the service department. Then I had a chat with Hector, the Inventory Manager. As we drove around, Seng patiently explained all the bells, buttons and features of the vehicle. Because their coffee machine was broken, he bought me coffee at Dunkin Donuts while we were out. The Cash For Clunkers and the upcoming rise in sales tax created a very short time frame for the dealership. Providing the Government required paperwork was easier said than done. All and all, I think this dealership did a terrific job of delivering my new vehicle before the deadline. They went out of their way to make sure I had a Great Experience. My Clunker was driveable but had developed a small leak the morning of one of my trips to the dealership. They let me leave it there and Hector drove me home. Dan, the Sales Manager, is definitely from the "Old School" of Customer Service and I have never me anyone who better understands how to accomplish that. Johnny (Sales Manager) was very thorough in reviewing all the required paperwork was correct. Dave (finance) did a great job explaining all my options and processed everything quickly. I went back today to get my sticker and my remote starter installed. They gave me a ride to Walmart and picked me up when my vehicle was ready. Being one of the first intended Clunker customers, I realize that I was a cog in what I'm sure is a well oiled wheel. During the process, Seng stayed in touch with me and promptly returned my calls. I would highly recommend this dealership and my salesperson Seng to anyone interested in purchasing a Toyota. More
I chose IRA Toyota of Tewksbury in purchasing a 2009 Highlander. It was a pleasure to deal with Al in buying the new vehicle. He was very accommodating in allowing sufficient time to test drive and an Highlander. It was a pleasure to deal with Al in buying the new vehicle. He was very accommodating in allowing sufficient time to test drive and answer questions. I also did not feel the "pressure" often found at other dealerships. The dealership did not have the exact car, but they were able to procure it from another source in less than 4 days. I was also happy that pricing was very competitive. I had done a significant amount of research on the internet (edmunds, truecar, consumer reports), and the initial quote was very fair. I would definitely considering IRA Tewksbury for your next car purchase. More
My first meeting with Ken was when he held the door open for me as I entered the side door of the dealership. I was there just to pick up some material on a new camry,he was more than willing to obtain it f for me as I entered the side door of the dealership. Returning the next day, I sat at his desk and went over various figures to arrive at a price I was pleased to pay. Ken is the best sales person I have ever encountered in all of the years of purchasing cars. He is very patient,understanding,polite and ethical. He made buying my new car a very pleasant experience. I would recomend him to anyone who goes to Ira Toyota in Tewksbury ask for him, you will not be disappointed. More

My sales person Al Amrani was very professional and not pushy at all. He went out of his way to demostate thr car and all of it's features. His pleasant and helpful manner allowed my wife and I focus on the car and if we really would be happy with a Toyota. As it turned out the Camry was the car of choice. Al along with Daniel Gilday helped to put a deal together that was satisfactary to both us and the dealership. Delivery of the car was smooth,done promtly and with care that we understood the operation of the cars systems and features. If their service department is as good as their sales department then I think I hit a homerun. Thank you Al and Dan. More
I was targeted by an internet sales campaign, and after several e-mail I visited this dealer. During e-mail discussion, the internet sales rep Todd Stump was made aware of my trade, its pay-off, and my cre several e-mail I visited this dealer. During e-mail discussion, the internet sales rep Todd Stump was made aware of my trade, its pay-off, and my credit rating. He advised me I'd be pleasantly surprised. I met with Dan Gilday, sales manager, and Seng, sales rep, on a Thursday night in June 2009. Mr. Gilday took my credit application, and returned to me with documents in hand. He told me that Ira works with wholesalers that offer top $ for trades, and Mr Gilday told me in the company of Seng as a witness that he could give me $10,500 to $11,000 for my trade, and that Toyota Credit approved me for "around $20,000". I was promised this, as well as a phone call by 11 AM the next Friday with the final number on my trade. Days go by, and I continually call the dealer for information as they never followed up. FINALLY, 5 days later, after having sent an email to Todd Stump, I get a call from Mr. Gilday. He blatantly denied what he promised, insisting he did not remember his own words. THIS EXPERIENCE FROM START TO FINISH WAS MISLEADING, UNETHICAL, AND BORDERLINE ILLEGAL. I've been to similarly-run dealerships in the past, but this experience brings me to this site to respond as I have, IN TRUTH. More
I was impressed by the sales staff. Not only were they knowledgeable, but they were trustworthy. They were very flexible about the car and the payment arrangements. The appraisal and all other items were performed very quickly and efficiently, even though the dealership was extremely busy throughout. I even got to ring the bell and get my picture taken at the end. I was impressed by Mr. Joiner's knowledge about all aspects of purchasing the vehicle, including the registration and insurance. He had good tips on how to keep the car in good shape. He was also very personable, listening when needed and performing the tasks which needed to be done to make the sale perfectly fit the purchaser. (Of course he had a great product to sell.) I would definitely recommend him for first time purchasers of Toyota. It was so comforting that he remembered every inquiry and addressed all issues which came up. He was clear to admit when he could not answer and was quick to refer to others who could. More
Our whole experience with buying our new Rav4 from Ira Toyota Tewksbury was excellent. Everyone there was courteous, friendly and helpful. He was knowledgeable, and did a very good job of making us aware of all the possible options, and of what was included in the various packages. I particularly liked the fact that he was completely comfortable with my desire to communicate mostly by email, rather than phone calls. He always answered my emails immediately, and when we needed to put off buying the car for a few weeks, I told him so, and he did not bother me with constant questions about when we would be ready to purchase it. I asked him to get back in touch with me by a certain general date, and he did just that. Once we agreed on the vehicle we wanted, he found it for me quickly and was extremely helpful in answering any questions I had. He also called a few days after I had bought it to make sure that I was happy with it. The whole experience was great. More
