No, the vehicle does not start 100% of the time. On occasion, when attempting to start the vehicle, nothing happens (no clicking or nothing).

Mr. Orlowski, You bought a vehicle on December 11 with 114,714 miles on it. Shortly after the purchase, you brought it back in to be repaired and we performed service free of charge. On February 21, you called the dealership to say that Auto Zone had informed you that the truck needed a new engine. I returned your call promptly and we had a lengthy discussion. My first question to you was why didn’t you bring it back to us when you were having a problem? You said you were out of state. You continued and told me you took it to Auto Zone and they charged you $2,000 in an attempt to fix whatever condition was present. After paying them the $2,000, and only after paying them the $2,000, you were informed it needed an engine. I told you that you could bring the vehicle to Auto Country (regardless of the fact you have driven the vehicle 2,300 miles in just a few months), and stated that I was still willing to look at the vehicle. I offered whatever assistance was possible. Your warranty was 30 days, or 1,250 miles, whichever comes first, which is in accordance to the MA Lemon Law. You became argumentative, making false accusations and blaming me for things I was not responsible for. I, again, offered to have you bring the vehicle to Auto Country. You told me I was responsible and threatened a law suit, followed by your slamming the phone down in my ear. We have been in business for 26 years now and we are responsible dealer. We take care of our customers, and in a situation like this we would have been, at the very least, willing to do whatever repairs necessary at cost, even though we have no legal obligation or responsibility. We are still willing to take a look at the vehicle.

Stephanie still waiting for you to give me your direct number as you promised. I have a log of every time I called the Office and who answered and what happened when I asked for you and told them my name. People don't bother commenting if you bought from Dwayne of The rude owner Mr. Fagan. My health problems are so severe because i CAN'T drive my unsafe vehicle with my granddaughter. I have almost been killed 2x. I challenge Stephanie to take my car for a ride with her loved ones and come back and tell me is she feared for her life.. I have a copy of all my responses Stephanie????Dealerrater do not tell me this is a duplicate complaint because it is a lifeline trying to get Stephanie to do what she promised to do in June 2017. I have already contacted my phone server to prove every time I called Auto Country. The proof is in the pudding.

This review is a testament to Mrs. Mattson's character. It is a rare case when one does the right thing and the customer still finds it necessary to abuse the business. AutoCountry acted responsibly, as we always do. Mrs. Mattson's understanding of the Lemon Law is flawed. The Statute states that the Dealer is to be given the opportunity to repair the vehicle. Mrs. Mattson came to the Dealership on a Sunday making completely unreasonable demands. She absolutely refused to give us an opportunity to remedy her situation and insisted that the information she had was correct. In her review she states: "is a piece of xxxx". I don't need to go into the details of how vulgar, rude, and abusive she was when she came in. She was condescending to the entire staff, much more so than in her review. I would like to state, though, that Mrs. Mattson happily drove the "piece of xxxx" that she purchased for 900 miles in the 4 weeks she had the car. It is said that you can't please all of the people all of the time. The fact remains that AutoCountry has successfully sold 14,500 inexpensive cars over a 25 year period and continues to operate a viable and thriving business, where people are satisfied every day. For this we are all very proud. Mrs. Mattson may babysit real criminals for a living, but I am not one of them. Nor are any of my staff members. We wish Mrs. Mattson nothing but good luck and happiness in the future. Respectfully, The Staff at AutoCountry
