We went to many car dealerships to learn about and compare SUVs. The only SUV we liked was the Infiniti QX50 Sport. It outshined the others when comparing comfort, looks, drive, and cargo space. Specifically, Darren Smith is a customer-focused salesperson, and I truly appreciated working with him. I was buying sight unseen and having the vehicle transported. I knew what I wanted but needed some real help from a salesperson. From my first call, Darren maintained the Do / Say ratio exceptionally well. He did what he said he would do, and took extra photos, and videos while answering my calls and texts quickly. I made a fair offer and he got it accepted quickly without undue haggling. After the sale, he stuck with me until the car was picked up and I had a tracking number for the title paperwork. He's the best. Unfortunately, the dealership believes they should add mandatory protection packages to their cars (years 2015 and newer). This is nothing more than an added profit center. The market is changing and dealers need to focus on their customers and not on unwanted and unneeded add-ons. Fortunately, they did not impose this tactic on my purchase due to the car's age. But back to Darren, great sales guy, direct, honest and responsive. Look him up you want be disappointed. More
My car was at Infiniti Austin from the 7th through mid-day the 27th. The overdue inspection was not performed, they lied and charged for it. The overheating issue was not fixed because they couldn't reproduce the problem. .i live 43 miles away and trusted I was safe to drive home.. The car needs were coolant, thermostat, fan assembly, radiator, and radiator cap because it overheaed 30 minutes after leaving the dealership. I was inoperable with a need for a tow, as well as a ride home. Infiniti offered no help. More
