Dishonest Sales I was there today to drive a CPO 2107 Audi. After the drive I happened to notice that the trim was all black with the exception of the front grill. I I was there today to drive a CPO 2107 Audi. After the drive I happened to notice that the trim was all black with the exception of the front grill. I asked the salesman for the build sheet and it showed that it had the Black Optic package. I was suspicious that it was in an accident and the salesman insisted that was the way the grill comes from factory and showed me a car fax. I knew what the black optic package was because I have it on one of my other Audi’s (the grill should have been black too). I asked for him to check the parts numbers from their service to confirm and he sent in his GM who reiterated the same thing. Sure enough after much of my frustration they found it was the wrong grill (issue 1). They also magically produced another car fax for the car and this time it listed the acccident (issue 2). When I compared the two car fax’s I noticed the original one they gave me to show there wasn’t an accident was printed almost 4 months prior (issue 3) and was short 2k miles... hmmm. Definitely felt like I was being scammed. They didn’t even apologize or explain any “mix-ups” or how there could have been. They immediately jumped right back to price. More
