I brought my 2001 Audi TT in for service one day and for whatever reason the service shop was closed and no one but sales reps and cahiers where there. They told me that the service department wasn't open whatever reason the service shop was closed and no one but sales reps and cahiers where there. They told me that the service department wasn't open even though it was a weekday and they had scheduled me for that time and date that i was in there. I then made another appointment to bring my car back in and when i came in the next time they said that i wasn't even in the computer for an appointment. After arguing with them for about 20 minutes i finally gotthem to give me a loaner because i wasn't coming back again to drop the car off for a third time. It was overall the worst service i had ever received from a dealership in my life. I would never recommend doing business with them whether it's for service or sales. More
Absolutely the worst experience I've ever had at a dealership. John L., the salesman we dealt with, was rude, condescending and completely unprofessional. He went out of his way to mock us and laugh a dealership. John L., the salesman we dealt with, was rude, condescending and completely unprofessional. He went out of his way to mock us and laugh at us because he thought the offer we made on his car was too low. Then the sales manager came over and tried (not very hard) to smooth things over. When I said “I don’t get the impression that you really want to sell this car” the sales mgr. said “ok” and walked away. Thank god we got out of there without spending any money. A couple weeks later I bought a car from McGrath Audi and recommend them highly. There are seven Audi dealers in the Chicago area. You’re better off buying from any one of the others instead of Schaumburg. I’ve done business with McGrath and Continental and both are excellent. More
Purchased a new A6 in '99 here and had them perform most of included servicing until I couldn't stand it any longer. Everytime the car was in for routine or recall servicing, they would break something else of included servicing until I couldn't stand it any longer. Everytime the car was in for routine or recall servicing, they would break something else that then needed repair. Seven incidents totalling $3,152 worth of (fortunately) covered extra repairs. Mirror adjustment knowb, cruise control vacuum booster and master and slave cylinders, new guauge set (twice), wheels (see below), rehang driver's door twice (don;t know who hangs on the door at the shop), reset the service lights (they always forgot to do it), various engine parts, repaint front end. Oh, and did I mention the "test drive" with Tony the Service Manager in which he managed to drive through a culvert at 35 mph and bent three rims? With me in the car!!! Maybe they're better now, but we'll continue to shop elsewhere in the future. More
