Great service. I talked to Brian on the phone on a Saturday, and the following Wednesday We drove off with our new Audi. His service was prompt and courteous. His pricing was very great and fair. I have many positive experiences with the Audi dealership located in Schaumburg. Service advisors are always very helpful and willing to go extra mile. The most important thing to me is being treated with respect & the entire staff at Schaumburg Audi is first class. They treat you with dignity & are also very fair, in my opinion there is not much more respect & the entire staff at Schaumburg Audi is first class. They treat you with dignity & are also very fair, in my opinion there is not much more you can ask for. Brian Hall is a tremendous asset to the company!! More
Overall, extremely positive experience. Our salesman, Neko, was extremely knowledable, friendly and sincere. He was helpful in answering our questions, and did not "push". The dealer's manager was also Neko, was extremely knowledable, friendly and sincere. He was helpful in answering our questions, and did not "push". The dealer's manager was also very friendly and easy to work with. They were able to assist in obtaining financing with a super interest rate! (3.8% versus the banks that were charging 6.5% or more.) When we picked up our car, all of the necessary paperwork was ready for us to finalize our purchase. Neko spent extra time with us before we left the dealership familiarizing us with all of the perks and technology on our new Audi. We couldn't be any more pleased with our experience. Thank you Schaumburg Audi! And NEKO! More
I have known Viktor Hadjiev since February 2006 when we purchased our first of four Audis from him. Viktor is the only salesperson I have ever met that knew more about the car(s) I was purchasing than I di purchased our first of four Audis from him. Viktor is the only salesperson I have ever met that knew more about the car(s) I was purchasing than I did. In addition to being knowledgeable in all aspects of the products he sells, Viktor is personable and hard working. When Viktor switched dealerships from Continental Audi to Schaumburg Audi my wife and I switched with him. Since it was a new dealership for Viktor (I felt he had less price control at Schaumburg vs. his old dealership) I felt the price I was given was not quite as good as the one I would have received from Continental Audi, since I had purchased five Audis from them. I chose to pay a little more just to work with Viktor. In my opinion you are fortunate to have him as a member of your sales team. More
I have purchased 6 new and 1 used Audi from Schaumburg Audi and have all my vehicles serviced at Schaumburg Audi. Everyone I deal with is very friendly. New car Manager Jim Iverson and my salesman Dean Audi and have all my vehicles serviced at Schaumburg Audi. Everyone I deal with is very friendly. New car Manager Jim Iverson and my salesman Dean Turner are great guys who are very accommodating to all my needs and when I need to get a vehicle serviced, I simply call my Service Manager Ed Stowicki and within 7 days or so (many times with 3 days) , I can get an appointment with a complimentary loaner. Jim Iverson keeps my apprised of all the new Audi models that are coming out. All in all, Schaumburg Audi is my first and only choice when it comes to buying a car. And of course, an Audi is my only choice in a car. More
This was the first time I had ever had the opportunity to buy a brand new car, Schaumburg Audi made it the worst, most stressful and most time-consuming process I have ever encountered. It started on about buy a brand new car, Schaumburg Audi made it the worst, most stressful and most time-consuming process I have ever encountered. It started on about September 10th when we contacted Schaumburg Audi through a buying service (USAA, operated through Zag.com). The initial conversations were easy. This is what we want and here is your price. We were informed that the USAA buying service required that we order the car new (Awesome!), pay a $500 refundable deposit (no big deal) and wait 60-90 days for our new car to be delivered (small price to pay for getting a car that had our names on it from the start). We did spend some time with our local Audi dealer in the Madison area to see if they would match the deal, item by item, to save us a drive to the Chicago area. They would match the price and ordering new, but the local dealer wanted $2500 non-refundable deposit and would not budge off of that. So we called Schaumburg and told them to send us the order agreement on September 15. We received the paperwork and how to provide the payment on the 16th, and were told they had already placed the order on the 15th. After signing everything and paying the deposit, we were told they would stay in contact with us as the car went through the process. As of the end of October, we had heard nothing, so we called them to check status. We attempted our sales person first (Brian), but he was not available for a few days. Then we tried the person listed on the dealer info as the representative for the buying service, Cheryl Marks. We talked with her, and she said she would check on the status and call us back, which she did later the same day. She reported that our car was on the boat and due to Schaumburg on December 3. Perfect! We called around November 30 and left a message for Brian on his office VM so that we could check ETA and make arrangements to pick up the vehicle. Brian did not return the message, so I called him on his cell phone. He did return this message and informed me that we had cancelled the car order a couple of days after signing the order agreement and paying the refundable deposit. (Our phone records will prove there were no calls between us and Schaumburg Audi personnel between September 16 and October 28.) He then told me that the inventory manager at Schaumburg had made changes to the order, adding a navigation system ($2500-3000 upgrade) and downgrading the wheels to 18" from the 19" we had ordered). After getting nowhere discussing this with Brian, we contacted the sales manager (Jim Iverson). I told Jim that we were amenable to the vehicle, but we were not paying more than the price we agreed to and the wheels needed to be swapped for to the 19" (something Brian said could probably be done, before I asked if there were any other changes and he said no, but then listed the navigation system off). Jim then searched through incoming vehicles and found one matching our order, except it had the stereo upgrade ($850) that we had not ordered, and it was not due into the Houston port until December 16. That would put the car in Schaumburg probably during Christmas week, but they were closed on the next day we could get there for delivery and he was not sure if they were open the next (Christmas Day and New Year's Day). So the earliest we could pick it up would be Saturday, January 8, far outside the agreed to 60-90 days. I told Jim that we could work with that car, again if we were not asked to pay more than our agreed to price, and if Jim made arrangements for alternative transportation until January 8. Jim said we would have to pay the stereo upgrade and he could give us a loaner car for a week but we would have to come from Wisconsin to Schaumburg to pick up the loaner and then return it a week later. At this point, the week would have given us alternative transportation until about the time the car arrived in port, but not the 3 weeks after. He then found a car matching everything except the wheel upgrade, and he said he would give it to us for the price we agreed to. I pointed out that we would pay the price we agreed to if they upgraded the wheels to 19". Jim said they didn't have anything in stock that he could swap wheels with, so I suggested they order the 19" wheels for us and make arrangements to have them installed at our local Audi dealer at no additional expense to us. The wheel upgrade was more than just asthetics. It gave us additional height for driving in snow. He said he had to check with his parts manager to see what they could do; he came back with the wheel upgrade no longer being a factory installed, $800 upgrade at that point, so he would have to charge us for tires and wheels to the tune of $3300, but they would give us $800 credit for the 18" wheels we would swap out. Basically, we were back to $2500 in additional expense to us, and we still didn't even have our $500 refundable deposit back because of our alleged cancellation back in September. We did end up with a Q5. We did end up paying more for it (ended up with the $850 upgaded stereo), but we decided to talk to another dealer. That dealer was able to locate a vehicle within 20 minutes of our initial conversation with them and have the vehicle at their showroom within 4 days of that initial conversation. We were able to take delivery of the vehicle before Christmas (on 12/18). I wish we would have talked to them first. It was easy, fun, the sales guy was so attentive, and even listened to me gripe about Schaumburg with patience. When we got to the good dealer, the car had carpeted mats and we mentioned we needed all-weather. No problem, and off 2 porters went with haste to get the mats and put them in the car, carpeted ones placed in the luggage compartment. Schaumburg has lied in their responses to our Better Busines Bureau complaint. We are now filing a consumer protection complaint with the Illinois Attorney General. We think we were baited and switched, and we were a little too wise so we saw what was happening. More

After reading some positive reviews about this dealership, I suspect that they were most likely written by their own employees to try and hide the truth about how poorly you and your car will be t dealership, I suspect that they were most likely written by their own employees to try and hide the truth about how poorly you and your car will be treated if you go there. I had several bad experiences with them where they will try to charge you for repairs covered under warranty and you can guarantee that your car will be worse off when you get it back. My case is not alone. I have had friends and family have similar experiences there. If you already made the mistake of buying a car from this stealership, make sure NOT to get it serviced there otherwise you will regret it. I am happy that DealerRater came along so other innocent people can be protected from the scams of dishonest dealers like Schaumburg Audi. If you have an Audi and live in the Chicago area do yourself a favor and make the trip to Continental Audi to get decent service. My friends and family live close to Schaumburg Audi but drive out of their way to get their car serviced in Naperville for their peace of mind. I sincerely hope this note reaches someone who is considering Schaumburg Audi and decides to take their car elsewhere. It will save them much stress and heartache. More
