Early September I walked into Danbury Audi where I have been a customer going on 10 years. I wasn’t greeted by the receptionist. When a salesperson did finally acknowledge me I said I was here beca been a customer going on 10 years. I wasn’t greeted by the receptionist. When a salesperson did finally acknowledge me I said I was here because my lease was up. I got an email from Audi for the “Pull Ahead Program” and wanted to take advantage of it. “What program?” he asked rather incredulously. I had to explain the program. "That’s with Audi finance!" he said. I explained I already called finance and they said you need to go to your dealer… . I finished my explanation to which he then responded, “I probably don’t have any cars for you anyway. I’ll be back in a bit” and walked away. My wife and I promptly departed. Next day, Audi Fairfield. With my wife waiting in the car, I went in and was able to secure a new A5 under the Pull Ahead Program of which they were fully versed. Got a pretty good deal in addition to that. Took 15 minutes. Next day, did paperwork and possession in 45 minutes. That big bull of a salesguy lost what was a lifetime customer. More
