Being treated like a VIP! I recently had my Audi A6 in for its 55,000 mile service. My service writer was Mandy Walters, the service writer I always use if she is available. As I recently had my Audi A6 in for its 55,000 mile service. My service writer was Mandy Walters, the service writer I always use if she is available. As soon as I pulled in Mandy was outside greeting me by name. She brought me inside and started the process of putting the paperwork for my visit together. She was very thorough in her explanation of what my 55,000 mile service would entail and its associated out-of-pocket cost to me since I purchased the service package. I had set up my appointment requesting a loaner car to not only allow me to get into the office but I also explained that I needed to be in Sarasota the rest of the week for a meeting and, as a result, would not be returning to pick up my car until my meeting was finished, which would be after the work on my car was completed. Mandy was nonplussed and told me that would be no problem. During the time my car was being serviced Mandy kept me informed on the progress of the work, reaching out to me at appropriate time intervals, not too often but not keeping me in the dark as to progress.
