Great All the Way Around I was having issues with my turbo on 2011 A5. I asked the Service Dept if they could could get me in touch with a Sales person. I received a call back I was having issues with my turbo on 2011 A5. I asked the Service Dept if they could could get me in touch with a Sales person. I received a call back within an hour and came in that night to start looking at my options. Everyone was extremely helpful in getting me in something that I was looking for. I have a 2012 Audi Q5 ordered Oct 2011 and delivered Dec 2011. Until Feb 2017 nearing my 100,000 anniversary, I had not had a single issue with my car. Performance wise, it has been my best car to date!!! I noticed an issue with my oil light in late Feb 2017. To make things a little more complicated, I no longer lived in Charlotte and there was not an Audi Dealer in my new town now 2.5hrs away. When I called the dealership 3 different times to: first, learn what kind of oil my car required; second, how to read the oil level; and finally how to open the hood, it was probably obvious that I was much in need of help! This is where Car Super Hero Charles Hinshaw stepped in to assist. Based on my calls, he recognized this issue and realized that while I had a 2012, my car was actually built in 2011. This issue was something that had a documented cure..........if only I had a 2011 and not a 2012. So, Charles asked that I give him a day to check on something. Apparently he took these findings to Kenny the Service Manager. After reviewing the issue with my car, both agreed that it should be covered due to the year it was built. My Q5 was grandfathered in to cover whatever this issue is called!!! That is not only fair but exceptional service because I assure you, most would have not gone any further than that 2012 date. I took them my Lady Q and they stood by their product as promised! I get her back today!!! Happy to drive my 2.5 commute to 9300 Independence Blvd, in Charlotte NC to pick up my Lady Q! Next year I will get my 2018 A5 manual shift. I admit, I almost hesitated once I realized there was no Audi dealership here. But integrity and great service are priceless so, I will drive my 2.5hrs to see Pat for my next purchase! Honorable mentions to CJ, Pat, and Kyle based on other great Audi experiences . Very quickly it became apparent th While test driving my wife's future Q5 Rich encouraged me to try the many options available on this elegant Audi. Very quickly it became apparent that this car was getting the better of me and in a stunning "win me over " fashion I hadn't seen since buying my present Lexus LS430. So impressed with the Q5 yet needing something similar but a bit larger Rich introduced me to the Q7. Being a salesman for 30 years in commercial Real Estate I'feel like I've seen every coy approach to selling known to man. Rich was anything but and always the helpful gentleman we southerners have come to appreciate. The Q7 actually did all the selling but Rich was there to answer the many questions I had as I understand the car doesn't speak ...yet, but it does listen and provide safety sign language when being passed , driving too close , pedestrian walking by and on and on. Rich has excellent personnel to support him from Marcus Robbins in finance to Kyle the answer man 24/7. I've wanted an Audi since the college days when my roommate had a Fox , now we have two and couldn't be more satisfied.
