Mr. Rueben, We are sorry to see this response from you, after visiting Audi of Charlotte. We know you were a referral from your friend who tried to by a car from us and then backed out of his purchase. I have to disagree with some of your statements, because I was there at the key track machine listening and watching the whole conversation...I was the 6ft 3 gentleman standing next to Max....I do not know where you got all this interpretation from, because Max never said such a thing. It was a very stormy day outside in the rain. and respectfully I do not want my associates going out in a storm to take a car out for a test drive for anyone (Our Company Policy). as you may not know> You also have the right to select which dealer you would like to do business with, when and where...…..I want you to know we don't waste our customers time, and we expect our time not to be wasted either...Your comments are very disturbing, since there is fabrication here, you didn't buy a car here, you were researching for another person who was going to buy a car a few months down the road...So saying that Max was wasting your time, is just not true...…..you were given all the information you asked for printed out, there is complete transparency, but I can assure you, our practices to our guests is no where near, how you defined the language, Max supposedly said, it just is not true... If you like to further discuss this, I am here all the time and will be happy to go over any of your concerns. Our job is to give you all the information your require to make your best buying decision, so we don't short cut here at Audi of Charlotte, just read the other 989 in all social platform reviews we have received from out customers that bought and service cars from us......Good luck in your purchase and thank you for the opportunity, sorry it didn't work out for you...………. Jimmy, Let me clear up some confusion for you, to begin, I was not a referral. I was actually the person who originally referred my family member to Audi Of Charlotte. The person in context was not a "friend". They backed out of the deal because Hendrick Audi of Northlake was offering a more appealing deal to the vehicle in question and to be frank they also had better customer service. To address your other concern, I don't recall any staff member near the key tracking machine in the time frame of Mr.Montoya's presence, but again I may be wrong. I could only imagine that a medium-end dealership would also have some sort of security camera pointed towards that said machine that stores the keys to thousands of dollars worth of inventory. I would also assume that a General Manager of your status would introduce himself to clients. Next, I never asked for a test drive nor did I infer a test drive. It would be foolish to test drive a car that isn't titled to your name in rainy weather. That is one thing, but to deny any client a simple walk around the vehicle because it was sprinkling outside? and just to confirm we arrived July 23, 2018 at 10:52AM (Dashcam evidence will be provided upon request), The weather conditions for that specific time frame were the following: Temp: 73F, Humidity: 94.12, Wind speed: 6mph Direction N, Precip/Rain Total: 0.02in (http://w1.weather.gov/data/obhistory). That fact that a general manager would ever reply with "we expect our time not to be wasted either" speaks on behalf of how the entire Audi of Charlotte treats their customers. Leadership with that kind of mentality and behavior truly reveals the dealership's agenda. I digress. There was no fabrication nor misinterpretation nor exaggeration. My comments are disturbing in your eyes because they display the truth that hurts your business. I understand that its your job to minimize and suppress the dealership's negative reputation it has developed over the years but to call a potential client a fabulist because they wrote a truthful review is pitiful and unprofessional beyond comparison. As a matter of fact I am profoundly confused how you can confirm that I was "researching for another person" when I clearly stated to Mr.Montoya that I was intending to purchase a vehicle as a gift for another family member this week. Audi of Charlotte's customer service practice is horrible and should be by no means, praised upon. You stated to just read the other excellent "989 social platform reviews", I do not wish to read the curated reviews that are rewarded from a paid membership. I can elaborate more and help shed some insight on how social media reviews are orchestrated but I will leave that to readers. Of course Mr.Montoya is going to say "it's just not true", his job is on the line and I would have also denied, Mr. Montoya was just not expecting for someone to write a review explicitly detailing the ordeal. We were not treaty equally and respectfully. I would gladly accept an appointment to speak with you in person. Respectfully Ruben
