OK, so I called Ali with a request for a very specific vehicle, model, color and spec and he came up with the exact vehicle in less than 3 weeks, used, 3 WEEKS old with 940 miles on it and saved me a TON vehicle, model, color and spec and he came up with the exact vehicle in less than 3 weeks, used, 3 WEEKS old with 940 miles on it and saved me a TON of money! I spent a week doing research on a new vehicle. I had been to several dealers and the auto gallery was my last stop. My husband and I bought a pre-owned Audi A4 from The Auto Gallery Woodland Hills on March 30, 2012. Overall, we had a very positive experience and would recommend purchasing a vehicle from this dealership. I would like to start be complimenting two people who highly impressed both myself and my husband, Nick Naish and Leo Ferreio. Nick assisted us in completing our paperwork to purchase the car. I feel Nick is a huge asset to Audi. It was very late (we did not finish the paperwork until midnight), but Nick took his time in explaining each detail, he was very energetic, and made the process pleasurable. Nick told us how much he enjoys his job and it shows. There was a misunderstanding about the registration figure and Nick made the effort to contact the manager and rectify the problem. To be honest, this made the difference between me having a positive car purchasing experience and not. Audi is extremely fortunate to have such a superb employee. Thank you, Nick. We also had the pleasure of working with Leo. There were a few scratches on the car, so Leo set up an appointment with the auto body shop to have the scratches fixed. He arranged for me to have a loaner car while my car was being fixed. Leo is a very professional and upbeat person. I am grateful for his help and appreciate how welcome he made me feel each time I was at the dealership. As stated above, we had a very positive experience, but we did experience some hiccups. JJ was the sales associate who assisted us in purchasing our car. I believe JJ has only been with Audi for a few months, so this may be the reason for experiencing some obstacles. The first issue we encountered was a few days prior to driving down to the dealership. I emailed JJ to inquire whether the dealership had a car that matched my specifications. I never received a response. As a potential buyer I would at least expect a response acknowledging my email and possibly indicating he would review the inventory and get back to me. The second issue occurred on the evening we purchased our car. It seemed apparent that there were major inventory problems. I’m not sure if is due to the fact that Audi has multiple lots, but it seemed to be difficult for multiple sales associates to locate specific cars that were listed in the computer system. We wanted to test drive a specific car, but a different car was given to us. It seemed like there was a lot of confusion with regards to what cars were on the lot and which cars were available. The third issue was a miscommunication regarding a promotion. Our friends were also in a market for an Audi. They corresponded via email with JJ leading up to the week of purchasing our Audi. JJ informed them that there was a promotion that if you bought an A4 you would get a basket of goodies worth $5K. The basket supposedly included an iPad, gift cards to stores, etc. We thought it was a good promotion; therefore, we decided to make the drive to Woodland Hills instead of our local Audi dealership. When we began negotiations on our car we were informed that the gift basket did not apply to this dealership, but rather the one at the mall. The final issue happened during negotiations. We asked to see the final breakdown of what the car would cost, including all taxes and fees. I questioned JJ about the registration fee and he provided incorrect information which, in turn, changed the bottom line. In the end the issue was resolved, but I would have preferred for JJ to verify his answer prior to confirming the figure. In the end, I wished that JJ had asked his associates/manager before providing incorrect information. It would have eliminated a lot of unnecessary frustration and time. More
