Purchased a Mercedes Benz vehicle at the beginning of March. Two days later noticed it's leaking oil. Go back and forth with Auction Direct from beginning of March until end of April to figure out what March. Two days later noticed it's leaking oil. Go back and forth with Auction Direct from beginning of March until end of April to figure out what's going on and they finally determined it needed to go to a foreign repair shop because they can't handle the work there. Foreign repair shop said it needed to go to a Mercedes dealership repair shop. The Mercedes repair shop finds that the seals in the oil cooler were bad. It was there for over 2 weeks. Get it back and two days later it's driving really badly. Call Auction Direct and took it back. They took it back to Mercedes who determined the torque converter and motor mounts are bad. That was on June 1st. IT'S STILL THERE!!! Auction Direct now wants to run this through the extended warranty because the dealership 3 month warranty has expired and the vehicle is now over the mileage limit. As charges are applied to my extended warranty, they are added to the accumulated total which is limited by the current value of the vehicle. If I continue to have problems then I'm left with no warranty coverage and still have a loan payment. I called and had a conversation with the service manager and then with the sales manager. The sales manager (Alan Friedman) said they would trade out the vehicle for something else on the lot. I've looked online but have not seen anything comparable for the price I paid. Alan also said he'd have Christina Merritt (sales person) give me a call. I spoke with Christina and told her basically what I'm looking for. Christina said she'd get back to me but never did. I called Christina on 6/11 (or 6/12) and she said she hadn't seen anything on the lot that met my requirements. We don't even want the vehicle now. After my initial conversation with Alan Friedman I have been trying to get him to call me back repeatedly but no luck. The one day he did return my call I was on a conference call with work. I tried calling him back shortly after and nothing. He left a message the vehicle should be ready by the end of the week. ALAN - I DON'T WANT THE VEHICLE!!! 6/30 After much going back and forth we were traded out of the original vehicle for the full amount and into a jeep that was newer. More
