Although this is the second Avalon that we have owned, it was our first time buying a car at Atlantic Toyota. The staff, although attentive, did not apply a lot of pressure. Mr. Sharkey, the finance manager, thoroughly explained all the options that were available to us, effeciently prepared the paperwork and had it waiting for us when we went to pick up the car. When I arrived at Atlantic Toyota, I was searching for a car in a specific price range. I was searching the used cars when Shane approached me. He was very professional and friendly. When I told him I was just looking, he politely told me his name and to asked if I had any questions. I found one vehicle that I was interested in, but went to a few other dealerships to shop around. When I found nothing that was as good as the prices Atlantic had, I went back. When I went to the same car I was looking at earlier, Shane made it a point to come out of the office and ask, "Is there anything that you liked." I showed him the car, told him my price range and followed him back into his office. Here is where a usual car salesman would have hammered you with questions to try to immediately pressure you into buying the car (or scare you off). Shane was not like that. He patiently explained my options, how each option would work out, and allowed me time to think and ask any question that I had (which he promptly answered). At no time during this entire experience did I feel pressured. I test drove the same car I was looking at brand new, decided I'd rather lease a car and have smaller monthly payments rather than buy a used car with higher monthly payments. I test drove one 2010 Toyota Corolla Sport, and drove home with it within a few hours. Shane made all this possible. He worked with me, listened to what I needed/wanted and did everything that he could to help me get the most for my money. I feel like this is the beginning of a long relationship with Toyota (in fact, Shane welcomed me to the Toyota family. I feel that I can call Shane at anytime, and highly recommend him to anyone. My partner and I visited Atlantic Toyota to look at a 2010 Prius. We walked the entire lot twice and then went inside to find a salesperson. We were greeted by a salesman and shown several Priuses on the lot and then taken inside to look at one in the showroom. We sat in the car and were given a cursory review of the features. When we requested to test drive a car, we were denied, the salesman saying they would only do that after we had basically signed to buy the car. This was unacceptable and, in our opinion, unprofessional. I would never buy a car I had never driven. We left Atlantic Toyota and leased a new Prius at Ira Toyota in Danvers the next day (they were very accommodating and got us on a test drive in no time). Be careful at Atlantic Toyota! More
We called about a car we'd seen in the net, and bought it two days later in a quick one-stop visit. People care, things are taken care of thoughtfully and efficiently, and you leave feeling all around that it was a great purchase. Shane personally and patiently saw us through from first phone call to a wave as we drove away in our new car. We could probably have shopped around more and paid a little less for the car we bought at Atlantic--but we feel that we got real value for money. Would we shop there again? Definitely--even though it is across the state from us. More

I did not feel pressured, was grateful to hear several options that would work for me, and am now driving a new Venza, which suits my needs perfectly and worked with the budget I had! This is the second new car I have purchased from Atlantic Toyota and both experiences have been excellent, from the initial greetings to service that I have had over the years. Ron was very accommodating and responsive. When I called about the vehicle that I eventually bought he answered my questions promptly. He presented options to us (like alarm and remote start, extended warranty) and did not pressure us to buy them. I appreciated that. I really liked getting 2.9% for 5 years financing from Toyota Financing. We were planning to finance through our credit union but the rate and time was better at Toyota Financing. It was an overall great experience. More
I am a former Pontiac Vibe owner which I loved, but when it came time to buy a new vehicle the Vibe had been discontinued, however I did know that it had a Toyota engine so that started me looking into Toyo it came time to buy a new vehicle the Vibe had been discontinued, however I did know that it had a Toyota engine so that started me looking into Toyotas. I happen to live 1 town away from Atlantic Toyota. I first went online, found a vehicle that I was interested in (FJ CRUISER)then phoned and lucky me I got Ron Alexander(or Alexander The Great as he is also known) as my sales contact and the rest is history, not only did I get the vehicle that I wanted I got the price and the perfect salesman. My husband was home laidup with a broken leg, cast up to his thigh and when I explained to Ron my situation he said not to worry that he would not only come to my home with all the paperwork for my husband and I to sign but that he would also deliver the vehicle. Now if that isn't going above and beyond I don't know what is, it was by far the most easy transaction we have ever had and I will never shop anywhere else for my vehicles. Ron and Atlantic are THE BEST and I'd like to give a shoutout to Mike Rudin in the finance department (now thats the first time I have ever thanked somebody for taking my money)but that's just what this is a great big THANK YOU!!!!! Ron I will be back in a couple of years for a trade up and your our guy and Atlantic is our dealer. By the way I also LOVE the FJ it's GREAT, my husband drives a Hummer H2 and I like the FJ better & the $30,000 price differance even more.
