Having lost two cars in the recent hurricane, my wife and I went to start looking for cars as part of a multiple brand, dealer search.we were greeted by Jennifer and found her knowledgeable and friendly.she I went to start looking for cars as part of a multiple brand, dealer search.we were greeted by Jennifer and found her knowledgeable and friendly.she listened to our situation and helped us limit our search to Toyota, with which we were familiar. Honestly, I had planned to get my cars from USAA Car Buying Service. Jennifer arranged a competitive package, with the advantage of being a local dealership. Without resorting to any of the assorted cliche sales tactics, she convinced us to get our cars from Atlantic. I cannot recommend her too highly. Allison, the finance person, was also courteous and friendly, answering all our questions and concerns. I was totally satisfied with the experience. Because of the post storm gas crisis and the time of day (evening) they gave us a IOU for a full tank of gas. Since gas was/is short on LI, this was the best that could be done under the circumstances and I attribute no fault over this. More
The WORST experience I had in my lifetime. If you are not really SMART(I wasn't), then it's not the place for you. 1. They ripped me off. 2. Delivered a different car. I have priced for the car I took te really SMART(I wasn't), then it's not the place for you. 1. They ripped me off. 2. Delivered a different car. I have priced for the car I took test drive and interested. But once delivered, it was a different car. After long argument, they compromised to fit whatever extra found on the car i was prices. If I hadn't noticed at that time, I would have lost it. 3. They screwed my Auto Care service plan. They didn't give me the default 2 year free maintenance. They forcing me to perform service at their dealer ship all the time to qualify for service. I have been working with dealership and Toyota to resolve the issue more than 3 months, but giving lot of excuses, and forcing to do service at their dealership. Lately, I came to know that, this car was sold to someone else earlier but not taken by the party, then re-sold me the same car for a premium price. I'm totally RIPPED! I lost almost 10K easily. So should I recommend this dealer? More
October 2012- I was looking for a 2011 Camry after being in a bad accident that totaled my car and injured my back and neck. My husband, two young children and I visited Atlantic Toyota twice and worked with John Crovello both times. John was as understanding and helpful as a person can be in a situation like mine. My husband & I had no plans to have a second car payment, so price played a major role in our purchase. Not only did he treat us with sensitivity and kindness, but he even thought of asking how I was feeling the second time we went to the dealership. Even when I struggled to make a final decision, he guided me through my options more like a good friend than a salesman trying to make a good commission. We were very disappointed with the attitude and lack of interest these past dealerships had shown towards us and we were really thinking of going with a different brand of car. However, we had a great experience with Atlantic Toyota! The best part of the experience was that there was no pressure from the beginning to the end. We went on a Saturday with the intention of just getting a quote and were expecting the same response as the other previous Toyota dealers had given us but then we met Lianne Dunne who from the moment she met us was understanding & friendly. She sat with us, listened to what we wanted and then began to help us...We couldn't be happier with the service we received from her and the Manager there who worked with us on the car we wanted and the price we wanted!!! They gave us the best deal, a deal we couldn't resist that even though we came with the intention of just browsing, we ended up leaving the dealership the SAME day, with a NEW car! So a big thanks to Lianne and everybody at Atlantic Toyota for the smooth transaction and a wonderful experience. We have been really pleased with the staff at the dealership & the CAR! More
