As a first time car buyer this was an excellent experience. Everyone was very helpful. The price was below competion and my sales person took the time to go over every feature of the car before I experience. Everyone was very helpful. The price was below competion and my sales person took the time to go over every feature of the car before I left the lot. He even included a tour of the facility including the service department and showed me how to get in and what to do. This was a beautiful and efficient facility. I felt I was in good, honest hands at all times. I recommend this dealership highly. More
We were there to get the RAV4 and met RON! This is the worst car buying experience we ever had. He had us walked 15 minutes all the way from the showroom to the lot in the back to check to see if they ha worst car buying experience we ever had. He had us walked 15 minutes all the way from the showroom to the lot in the back to check to see if they have the RAV4 with the options we need. It could simply done by looking up online, after spending 30 minutes walking, he told us they do not have a brand new one in stock, and was trying to sell us a demo with options we don't want. Very unprofessional, left us standing waiting for him for 10 minutes while he returned to his desk browsing internet. More
After going to 4 different Toyota dealerships trying to purchase a Toyota yaris and getting the runaround and hidden cost. I found the the Toyota Yaris I was looking for at Atlantic Toyota. I found the p purchase a Toyota yaris and getting the runaround and hidden cost. I found the the Toyota Yaris I was looking for at Atlantic Toyota. I found the price to be reasonable and no hidden cost. I found Mr Castro friendly and helpful and up front on the MSRP. Also this dealership does not charge $295 documentation fee that other dealers do. I am very happy with my purchase and also the dealership. People looking to purchase a new Toyota I highly recomend. I was looking for a Prius and this was one of the dealerships in my area. Not having a car, I dealt with Internet quotes and phone calls. Dan called me back a few times because he had to go check and dealerships in my area. Not having a car, I dealt with Internet quotes and phone calls. Dan called me back a few times because he had to go check and see if they had the exact car I wanted or when they would have it. Speaking with other dealers and doing some basic research on the car, I was surprised how little Dan (the salesman) knew about the car and the package. It sounded like he was browsing their own website. THe website, by the way, was difficult to use becase the pictures do not reflect the exact cars they have there or some information is missing. Anyway, I found better deals and salespeople at Acton and Lexington Toyota. While this dealership had a good BBB rating, I felt uncomfortable dealing with someone who knew little about the cars they were selling. More
I can't even begin to describe how wonderful our experience was with Atlantic. From the minute we got to the lot we were treated well. We were in the market for a Sienna and Gehsign took us out to experience was with Atlantic. From the minute we got to the lot we were treated well. We were in the market for a Sienna and Gehsign took us out to the lot and showed us a few that were former rentals that they were offering great prices on. He tossed us the keys to one that had all of the options that we were looking for and said that we could take it out for as long as we wanted. We loved the van so we went back to work out the trade and price. Lou sat down with us and figured out the numbers based on which car we were to trade - my wife's or mine - and worked out a payment plan that we are able to afford. Every promise they made to us during the negotiation process was kept, including a remote starter and a small bottle of touch up paint. When my wife brought the van in for the remote starter, they gave her a free rental car. This experience was the total opposite from when I bought my 2003 Matrix at Ira. I left there feeling like I got a raw deal and every time I bring it in for service I feel like I'm being screwed. When we left Atlantic, I felt like we made out well and have enjoyed the experience ever since. I would definitely recommend Atlantic to anyone in the market for a Toyota! More
In 40 years of buy car, new and old, I never had such a negative experience. I purchased a 2006 Sienna in August. I was keep waiting for over 5 hours waiting for the paper work to complete. I waited 3 h negative experience. I purchased a 2006 Sienna in August. I was keep waiting for over 5 hours waiting for the paper work to complete. I waited 3 hours the next day while they stalled putting the inspection sticker on the vehicle. I should have walked. I don't why I didn't. When I report to them that the cargo net was missing upon delivery, I was ignored. I guess with Toyota there is no recourse, which is why I will never, ever buy another Toyota. So I guess I'm screwed. I would advise anyone who reads this, not to buy a vehicle from Atlantic Toyota in Lynn, MA. More
Shopping online I came across a great deal advertised by this dealership. Ron is the man who got me into my new car. The car was well below book value and in great condition, I shopped obsessively until I found their price and jumped when I saw it. My credit is terrible so I had concerns. Ron assured me they work hard to get everyone of their clients driving. "Think Positive" is something you'll hear him say, sure enough he was right. My loan was approved from Toyota's own financing. After being turned down at other places, this was news I dreamt of hearing! Ron was a friendly and curteous proffesional employed by a fantastic dealership. More
had a great experience. i knew what i wanted, a small car fuel efficent car, and was interested in either a corolla or scion. i was shown both, inside and out. the sales person spoke at length the pros car fuel efficent car, and was interested in either a corolla or scion. i was shown both, inside and out. the sales person spoke at length the pros and cons of both (spacing, trunk, power, etc.), which helped in the decision making (the scion won). no sales pressure whatsoever. the paperwork procedure was quick and painless, as was the financial portion. we didn't have to make a down payment and all additional options were explained thoroughly in a no-pressure environment. we received our car in 2 days and everything was how we wanted it (we added a keyless entry and alarm). the service guy who put these in was very nice, courteous an explained in detail how each worked. overall and excellent experience in all three areas:sales, finances and service department. :) definitely will return. STAY CLEAR OF THIS DEALERSHIP! I purchased a used vehicle from this dealership, and I can honestly say that it was the worst transaction I have ever experienced. Never have I experienced such incompetence o from this dealership, and I can honestly say that it was the worst transaction I have ever experienced. Never have I experienced such incompetence or unprofessionalism from any store or establishment. The very first thing my saleman, Ron, did when I arrived (after I called about a specific car, mind you) was to immediately show me more expensive cars. After actually driving the car I came to test drive, and asking to talk about financing options, they refused to speak to me any further about purchasing the car unless I put down a deposit. I have never received such a blatant slap in the face, and had they not had the exact used car I wanted, unique unto them, I would have left immediately. I gave them their deposit, and was finally allowed to speak further about buying the car. I told them I would buy it, and they told me that it would be ready to be picked up the next day. My salesman, Ron, needed simply to fax 3 documents to my insurance and loan company to conclude the transaction. He failed. After getting out of closing my loan at 4:55pm, which I had to work extremely hard to get to get to, I called Ron to ensure that he had sent and received all he needed from the insurance company. He had not. Rather then calling the insurance company to rectify the problem, he had done nothing. Absolutely nothing. This was 4:55pm on the Friday before President's day weekend, and my insurance company closed at 5:00. That meant there were 5 minutes to get all the paperwork completed or I would have had to have waited until the following Tuesday. He had all day to fax 3 documents, and he only managed to do so at the very last minute after I pushed him to do his job.
I finally purchased my car and on the ride home, the check engine light came on. So I had to bring my car back to the dealership to have it fixed. One week after I brought it in, it was finally ready to be picked up. The problem was an oxygen sensor, and job which takes approximately 20 minutes. I called 3 times on the day I was to pick up my car before I was finally told by Earl that it was ready for me. I work 9-5, so I had to get the car after the service department had closed for the day at 5:00pm. Earl told me I could simply pick up my keys and paperwork from the sales desk, and that everything would be waiting for me that evening. I confirmed that I would be there between 7 and 8pm, and he confirmed everything would be ready for me. So I arrived at 7:45pm, and no one in the dealership had any clue where my keys or paperwork were. Mind you that this dealership is a 45 minute drive away from my house, and I required the help of a friend to get there. So not only did there incompetence severely inconvenience me, but it severely inconvenienced a third party as well. Fortunately I had the foresight to anticipate such a failure by the dealer, as I really could not expect less from them at this point, and brought an extra set of keys.

My car came with a 90-day warranty. Because of the utter incompetence I experienced at every single step of my purchase and service, I will not be bringing my car there for any work even if it were covered under this 90-day warranty. I advise you STRONGLY to steer clear of Atlantic Toyota in Lynn, MA and take your business elsewhere. More
