Where do I even begin? So, I tried to get a car back in July with Timmy Gay as my salesman; no Co-signer, bad credit, little down payment, and an upside down trade-in that I was paying 25% interest on. As July with Timmy Gay as my salesman; no Co-signer, bad credit, little down payment, and an upside down trade-in that I was paying 25% interest on. As expected, I was told I'd need a co-signer to get anything. So, fast forward to October, I tried again with a Co-signer. Started the deal on a Monday and due to some unfortunate circumstances with the bank needing certain information, it took longer than expected. BUT with Timmy, Brian's (GM) and Chris's upmost efforts and not giving up, I GOT APPROVED!! They worked day in and day out for the past 5 days to make it happen while other dealers would give up within the first couple of hours due to my credit, trade-in, etc. I am so very grateful and blessed! If anyone needs or wants a car, I HIGHLY suggest coming to Athens Ford! Ask for Timmy Gay and he will take great care of you. Same goes for service and parts, anything needed in any dept, I promise they will make YOU their #1 priority! More

I bought a veicle sold a “new” but was on their fleet of service vehicles. Almost new with better incentives. The backup camera was messed up but it was a known issues and they had already ordered the part service vehicles. Almost new with better incentives. The backup camera was messed up but it was a known issues and they had already ordered the part and it was supposed to be there two days. Well, come to find out they took out the pricing incentives without me realizing it, they didn’t have features on the vehicle they said were there and it took almost 3 MONTHS of me bugging them to get the camera fixed. They gave me three different appointments before the one that actually got my camera fixed only for me to be told the night before that the part wasn’t there like they had sworn it was when they called me with the appointment. Anyways, lies, upon lies, upon lies is all I got and am still getting from this place. They *still* owe me fixing a few small dents and scratches but haven’t even bothered to try to schedule those and they can’t claim coronavirus manufacturing for this one. At this point, about the only way I would even come close to giving this dealership even a semi-decent review is if they were to fix what is in the contract to be fixed, put on the features the salesperson lied to us about being on the vehicle and change my amount owed to reflect the discount I was supposed to have gotten. I needed to get into a vehicle that would carry my wheelchair so desperately that I trusted people I never should have and bought the car based on their word. Athens Ford’s “word” is about as valuable as dirt so beware. The service dept put the camera on fine. More
