Salesman made a promise to pay for repairs to car I bought and then would not pay the bill. A service to get oil change lasted 2.5 hours. They did not charge me for the time but it was enough for me to bought and then would not pay the bill. A service to get oil change lasted 2.5 hours. I'm concerned about my new 2019 MKZ which seems to be full of moisture, Also, new car with no Freon in air conditioner unit. I hope this wasn't a car from a flood area or hurricane. I made an appointment over a week ago to have a brake controller installed on my vehicle and general maintenance done while it was in. I took my truck in on 9/22/20. Chase was my service advisor. I dropp controller installed on my vehicle and general maintenance done while it was in. I took my truck in on 9/22/20. Chase was my service advisor. I dropped my vehicle off at 7:30am. At about 12:45pm I was informed the the oil change and tire rotation was complete but the brake controller that they had in stock would not program and that they needed to order another. Chase did not know when the new part would arrive. I was rather shocked and said I guess I will pick it up after I get off work. Once I got off the phone and thought about it more I called back to ask if they had called other dealerships to get the part. Chase said that none were available and even if they were sometimes other dealerships will not sell their parts to other dealerships. I was frustrated. Chase ended the conversation with the statement "What do you want me to do?" I was angry and hung up. I decided to call other dealerships to see if they had the part in stock. On my second dealership call I located the very part that I needed down the street at another Ford dealership. I even asked if that other dealership would sell parts to Art Hill. They said of course and that they do it all of the time. I called Chase back to let him know that there was an available part down the street. About an hour later I was informed that they had sent someone to pick the part up. My truck ended up being finished by about 5pm the same day. GREAT but thanks to me! Why did I have to do the legwork to locate a part? Why wasn't the service department at Art Hill a problem solver? Art Hill could have did what I did and I would have never known that there was an issue. Ironically enough every time I have my vehicle services I am bombarded with emails and texts asking if I will submit a review and rate the service. Not this time. They know they messed up and did nothing to remedy the situation. More
I thought the staff was very helpful and not aggressive. Genuine and knowledgeable especially our salesman.
