We have been noticing a pulsing in the idling of our F150 Platinum. We just purchased it 3 months ago. When low and behold, our ford app sent us a message that our PCM needed to be reset for an Engine Shudde Platinum. We just purchased it 3 months ago. When low and behold, our ford app sent us a message that our PCM needed to be reset for an Engine Shudder. So I called Art Hill and scheduled an appointment. 10 days later I was able to get in. They called a couple hours later, they found no issue and we could pick it up for a $160.00 diagnostic fee. Needless to say, I was angry. This does not require parts. just a reset on the computer, I asked how much for the reset. An hour of time maybe $ 100.00 no problem, take the diagnostic fee off, I will pay the money to have my truck fixed, even though I have an extended warranty. I just want it fixed. Tiffiany, informed me she would get another tech to drive it and see if they can fix it. two and a half days later, the truck was never touched. Love my ford app! The truck was never turned on! So, I went there and said Give me my truck, bill and keys, I will never be back, she then informed me, that because it is a transmission issue, it would take up to 10 days. It was not a transmission issue. It was a computer reset! The other person was very nice, but their service department is terrible. They are parts changers, not mechanics! If the diagnostic doesn't tell them what to do, they are clueless. It is like lining up the cars at 7:30 am is herding cattle, for that almighty dollar. How many people are paying money, that they do not need to. I will drive 50 miles to insure I never go there again! More
The experience we had at Art Hill dealer ship, was above and beyond !!!!. We traded our mkz Lincoln that we bought from them , for a new Lincoln aviator . From the store manager Steve to John the salesman both are above and beyond! They are very professional and knowledgeable about what they are selling . We are so pleased with the service we received, we went back to dealership the very next Saturday and bought a Lincoln continental. Very happy with all of ithe serve we have received. George was great also in my purchase of the continental. Very happy with all of our experiences at the dealership. Highly recommend❤️ More
The service department is very unprofessional. We took our car in for a noise it was making. We were told it was the transmission and it would take at least 10 days for the technician to look at i We took our car in for a noise it was making. We were told it was the transmission and it would take at least 10 days for the technician to look at it. After 12 days we still had not heard from them. When we called to find out what was happening, no one knew anything about the car. Chip, the manager had to call back and he still had no information because he said the advisor that checked in the car had hidden the tickets in his desk and he had been fired. The next day we were told it was definitely the transmission and the damage was too extensive and it would need to be replaced at a cost of $6,480. We decided to take the car to another shop. When the shop called to set up the transfer they were told we owed a $150 diagnostic fee that we were never informed of. We tried to pay over the phone with a credit card and they wanted an in-person payment done. We ended up reporting this to the Ford Corporation and found out that the technician had only used a diagnostic meter to assess the car and nothing else was looked at. How could they say it's beyond repair if it was not looked at? The service manager Chip is very rude and has no idea what is going on with any of the cars there. He has no business telling customers that an employee was hiding the tickets in his desk. Tiffany, the service advisor informed Ford that she would not work with us on our case because we were angry. She works in customer service and should be dealing with all customers. We have taken both of our Ford cars here for service since we purchased them and now we will be taking them somewhere else. When the time comes to make a new purchase, we definitely won't be going here. More
Service department girl that answers the phone is rude and unhelpful wouldn’t ever take my car there because of her. I WAITED A WEEK FOR AN APPOINTMENT FOR A NEW TIRE AND LEFT WITH MY OWN DONUT AFTER WAITING FOR OVER 2 HOURS...WHEN I MADE THE APPOINTMENT I TOLD THEM I NEEDED A NEW TIRE..THE TIRE WASN'T ORDERED AND I W LEFT WITH MY OWN DONUT AFTER WAITING FOR OVER 2 HOURS...WHEN I MADE THE APPOINTMENT I TOLD THEM I NEEDED A NEW TIRE..THE TIRE WASN'T ORDERED AND I WAS TOLD IT WAS GOING TO BE ANOTHER WEEK WAIT FOR IT..I WAS LITERALLY AT THE DEALERSHIP FOR NO REASON FOR 2 HOURS...AND ON TOP OF THAT THEY DIDN'T EVEN PUT THE DAMAGED TIRE IN MY CAR SO I HAD TO COME BACK THE NEXT DAY AND PICK UP THE TIRE SO I COULD GET IT PATCHED...
