Well this is the second time my family has visted this dealer in three months. I must say that everything was made very clear to Me. I will start by saying that Jason our sales person was very nice. I picked my wife up after work to run and take a look at an suv Arrigo had sitting on there lot for about three months. I had seen it there the two and half months ago when my mother had purchased her car. E price on the car was 13997. Well it had 52000 miles put on it as a rental car and 8000 by the second owner. So at 5 pm me and my wife arrived at Arrigo. I had done my research about the carfax and all that stuff. Needless to say the suv looked like it had not been washed in a month. It also had three differant brand tires on it. Ok so we test drive it me and the wife and everything runs as it should. It is dark at this point. my wife pulls the suv in under the lights to check this thing out alittle more. At this point we have notice the tires don't match and the driver seat is stained. Thank god for my wife, But she points out to me that it looks like someone has used an sos pad to try and clean lovebugs off the paint. The head lights as well as the fenders and hood all have swirls in the paint. I am glad she wiped alittle of the dirt off. I know that it was an old rental car so we went over it pretty good. So this is all things i start adding up in my head. Ok so we go into to talk to our sales person. I offered to bring a check for 14000 dollars.That is the money I had. That is what I could afford. I had the check lined up though my bank ready to pickup. The asking price is 13997 and it needed some things. so 14000 to me is fair. After some back and forth,15300 then 15000$ no I just can't do it. "I would be losing to much money and I will just take it to the auction." Ok I never got rude, gave the man a hand shake and me and the wife went to dinner. I wasn't really upset. My mother had just traded her truck in for 7500$, Arrigo put it on the lot for 14899 e price. This suv had minor issues as well as been on the lot for 3 months. Ok next morning I get a phone call about 9.30. We can do it for 14000 out the door like you wanted but you have to go though our bank. No sir but i can still bring you a check today for 14000.Nope 15000 out the door or we lose money. Ok now I am alittle puzzled. About an hour later the e price dropped to 13,893. Ok so know i am getting alittle upset. this was a saturday. Tuesday I was told that the suv went to auction. I was told by Arrigo the suv SHOULD bring 13000 to 13500 easy. So much for repeat bussiness from my family. I was just disappointed that it come down to so little money and that customers ment that little at Arrigo More
After doing an Internet search my wife and I drove the 80 miles to this dealership. When we got there we were greeted by Jeff the salesmen and we told him the vehicle we wanted to see. Jeff advised us that miles to this dealership. When we got there we were greeted by Jeff the salesmen and we told him the vehicle we wanted to see. Jeff advised us that the vehicle we wanted to see was at another location 85 miles away but that they could brin it over for us to see. Jeff showed us a similar vehicle and a test drive was done. Afterwards we decided we did want to see the vehicle we had seen on line and were told by Jeff that we could write up a deal using the numbers from the car and if we come to an agreement then they would bring the car over. I ageeed to this and after sitting down and giving them the keys to my 2005 crossfire convertible which is in great condition, Jeff returned to the table and showed us a deal that stated they would give us 5500 for our car and only 3000 off of the sticker price. I must say that I was shocked and offended by this and got a little upset when the sales manager came over. I requested my key back as they still had it and the manager said he would see what he could do. When he returned he showed a paper now saying that they would give us 7500 for our car and still only 3000 off the price of the car. It is important to mention that the vehicle we were looking at was 35000 convertible and it was apparent that they did not want to deal. Kbb quotes trade in value for my car at 8300 and I could not even get there so again I requested my key. It took me raising my voice and demanding my key to get out of there, which still took 5 minutes. I left that dealer and will never return to any of their dealerships, but we did purchase the vehicle of our dreams at Douglas Jeep Chrysler dodge and they did give us trade value and money off of the 36000 sticker price. All I can say is if your looking for a deal go to Douglas and forget this place. More
