My husband and I got married about 5 months ago and this was our first major purchase together. We were looking for a used car that was good on gas, a good price, and a convertible. After visiting another dealership, we were discouraged with the pressure tactics used and went to Arrigo just to say that we went to more than one dealership. A friend of mine had recommended Tom Popiel and said he was a laid back man and did not pressure you at all. We were greeted right away when we walked into Arrigo and didn't have to wait long for Tom. We told him what we were looking for and he came back and told us what they had in our budget that met the criteria. We didn't really want a Sebring after looking at one at another dealership, but we decided to be open to options and looked at two different ones with Tom. My husband wasn't sure it was what he was looking for, so Tom walked over with us to Fiat because my husband thought maybe he wanted a Fiat instead. Tom was very patient with us, even when we decided a Fiat wasn't for us and wanted to go back to the Sebring. Tom walked us through the whole process amazingly. We did not set out to buy a car on Saturday, we were just going to look. We felt really good about buying a car from Tom, and are so glad we did! Tom introduced us to Eddie, who helped us with the financing portion of the process. He was very nice and helpful and explained everything very clearly to us. He was honest with us and didn't beat around the bush. Tom & Eddie were both great to work with and made us feel very relaxed. We didn't feel at all pressured when we bought our car and are very happy with our decision. Tom has followed up with us and has just been wonderful. Overall Rating - Positive. We found the car we were interested in on Autotrader. E-mailed the dealership on a Thursday evening just before closing to see if the car was still available. Received an e-mail response from Viard within 15 minutes confirming the vehicle was available and asking if we were interested in seeing/driving the car. We replied we were and set up a time after work on Friday. Viard provided me his contact info and asked that I call when we were on our way which we did. I explained to Viard that we did not have much time to spend. When we arrived, Viard had already went to bring the car around for us to look at. The vehicle was exactly what we wanted (looked like it just came off the showroom floor)so we test drove it with Viard. He was friendly and we enjoyed talking with him during the test drive. After driving the vehicle, we decided we wanted to purchase it if the dealership would agree to our offer. Again, understanding that we did not have much time to spend, Viard commmunicated our offer to his management and after a short discussion, we agreed to a price near our offer and what we considered reasonable (actually a very good deal) and within our budget. Viard facilitated the timely completion of the paperwork, had the vehecile washed and helped us transfer the items from our trade into our new vehicle in a short amount of time which we appreciated. It was a quick (2 hr max) and postive experience and thus far we love the Fusion! We would recommend the dealership (not my first experience with them but first purchase) and certainly would recommend Viard. He called to follow-up on the purchase the next day then again about two weeks later and all is well with the car. Very nice guy, we wish him well and we were glad he received his cut on our purchase of the vehicle. More
