Long story bit will shorten. Bought a late model used vehicle that as I drove off lot had a service engine light that I had apparently overlooked. I am certain that dealer knew about it and failed to men vehicle that as I drove off lot had a service engine light that I had apparently overlooked. I am certain that dealer knew about it and failed to mention. Did bring to another dealer for service as it was under warrantee and they found that rodents had eaten some wires. Guess that 100 point inspection wasnt so good In either case, car stayed at service dealer for a week before I had to personally get involved running between the dealers. Imagine paying 40k for a car and you are unable to drive. To their credit, a sales manager did get involved and resolved my issues. Both the sales manager and the General Manager Mr Wright, shook my hand, gave me their cards with their personal number and said, if I ever need anything related to this vehicle or any other, they personally were at my service The sales manager then told me that they will also get me an extra set of keys as they only gave me one with the purchase. After multiple attempts to get in touch with him about the key, I finally was told that he is no longer employed there. I then reached out to the General manager by phone and multiple emails regarding this situation and the extra key. Remember, this is the gentleman who personally shook my hand and told me to personally contact him if I need anything. Needless to say, I have not heard from him at all. Tried to call again and spoke to Jerome who promised me he would look into it. Again, nothing done. So end result, no key, no promise kept and proof that this general managers personal assurance, sealed by a handshake, means nothing. Cannot be trusted More
